RD tech RD6006 60V/6A NEW power supply released

I have reply you on aliexpress

Update:

RD Tech suggested I open a dispute on AliExpress. AliExpress responded to the dispute in less than one day. AliExpress shipping accepted responsibility.

I am ordering another case

you can share your power supply after assembly, and you can try to reshape the fisrt case, so that you can get two

RD6006 feedback:
good item, it performs well, constant voltage and constant current output, and the WiFi board can work normally, it is worthy to order one, waiting for higher current version

I’m terrible at metalworking. I smashed the bent case into shape using a 7kg barbell and a block of wood. Yes, I hit it with a barbell.

The bent case works better than I though it could. It looks 2nd quality. I will use the new case when it arrives and save the first case for parts or a 2nd power supply.

I used cable ties to keep the wires out of the fan and to keep it neat inside.

Burn in and quick calibration check. So far working very well.

First, make sure my inexpensive DMM is ok:

Next, a quick check of the RD6006.

I’ll do some more checks tomorrow.

if you want to reshape the case, you need a hammer to hit the curved place gently, the case material is soft. and waiting for your test, you can contact me if you have any questions when using it, and I cannot see the picture because I cannot access the picture link :person_facepalming:

RD6006 feedback:
[It came with neat RD6006 and case but I successfully made a nest good functions]

very good work, you can continue to test, if there is any problem, please let me know

Load check and burn-in. All good so far. I like the user interface. It is easy to use. I set 3.3, 4.1 and 5V into memory 3,4 and 5.

I am going to let it run at low power for several hours. The fans don’t run at low power settings so the supply is silent.

Do you have plans for more new products to fit the 160x74mm cut out?

I could use a better bench DMM. Mine is 3,999 count. I’d like 60,000 or better at a reasonable price.

sorry, for this size, we have no plan now

customer feedback
[In general, the product RD6006 turned out very cool, the control is done intuitively understandable, in 5/7 minutes you can completely understand it, collected qualitatively, does not overheat even when working on Max currents with low voltage(
compared to the previous power supply)]

haha , you can continue to test

customer review:
RD6006 power supply
[Fast delivery and great packaging. The housing is made to a good standard, all parts needed are included. The photos also show the packaging of the RD6006 itself which is obviously not included with this housing.]

This is a very interesting design. I am mostly interested in Constant Current mode and would like to know how fast does the circuit switches from Constant Voltage to Constant Current. In other words, what surge current must I expect on the output if I connect a sensitive circuit to it. Are there large capacitors directly connected to the output?
Thank you

Our output capacitor is two 330uF in parallel, our switching frequency is about 70kHz, so your sensitive circuit should absorb at least ΔU*C energy.

RD6006 USB WiFi DC - DC Voltage current Step-down Power Supply
[excellent product!!! very well packaged(well packaged for rude delivery, we both don't want to see a broken device, it is a waste of time and money)]

This is a very interesting item.
I’m mainly interested in the graphical monitoring of voltage and current like other more famous DMMs.
Very interesting software for PC …

Can you expect a version with 3.5 “or 4.2” LCD display ?
(I hope he will arrive soon)
and any improvement in voltage and current monitoring?
It works very well both in the laboratory and in the assembly line.

now I am testing one in my laboratory and 4 in assembly line …
Next day I post some other information about my experience with RD6006-W
