Umm… interesting? I really like the Tool AA V2.0’s. This is essentially an “assemble your own” kit. Seems odd to include both LEDs, but I guess that gives you the chance to try both if you don’t know what you like. And it’s not just the LED, it’s an entire pill. Which makes sense, I guess, since not everyone has a soldering iron.
Those disassembly tubes do look pretty neat and would make removing the pill slightly easier than than the mini-needlenose that I currently use. $40 before coupon though? Ouch. But it might make a neat gift for just the right person.
I guess its a also good choice for new FL user to understand how it works, and spare the heads by them self ,and like advanced users will also love it to change parts of a AA Tool… Im wondering its not shared/posted in BLF com…
Yes I’m new to this. I first got a emisar D1s a year or so ago and forgot about this forum. Found it again and the last week ordered a emisar d4sv2, astrolux mf01s, sofrin sc31B, this lumitop tool AA…
Trying really hard not to pull the trigger on the mf01s mini and the firefly e07 cu TI…

It indicates Nichia 219C and Cree XP-L HD. I’m guessing probably 5000k for Nichia and maybe around 5000+ k for the XPL-HD…

On AliExpress, for the preassembled Tool AA 2.0, it says 6500K for the Cree LED and 4500K for the Nichia.

I’m not sure about the Nichia, but all of the Tool AA’s I’ve bought (~10, both V1 and V2) with the XP-L HD have been cool white, around 6000K.
EDIT: Whoops, Phlogiston beat me to it!

Panda on the way good project for me and my youngest son if hes not too old to hang out (17)
We’ll see.
It is saying 0 available for the gray. Anyone know if I’m doing something wrong? I hope the coupon will work by the time more are in stock.
For some reason it’s not working for me. Perhaps they really are out of stock now. Thanks for the tip, I’ll try again later.
I also see 0 stock for grey
I heard this light has a lowest mode of about 12 lumens, and uses PWM, can anyone confirm?
Same as the Maratac AA? (that is also Lumintop made)

Panda White: 66 items available
Black: 96 items available
Grey: 0 items available
I went ahead with the panda white, it looks pretty cool. Does this come with the magnetic tail cap, too? I didn’t see it in the pics.
Also, does anyone know if the white comes off easy? I’ve seen some online people say it does.
