Since buying my MF01 mini with High-CRI 4000K emitters, everything else just looks highly unsatisfying, so I’m not sure what to expect. Right now the delivery driver has another 44 stops before he drops off my EC01, so I guess I’ll know sometime later today.

This might become the first light that I’ll subject to an emitter swap if I’m not happy with the tint.

I just got an update from BG today. Manufacturer acknowledged that they mislabeled the tint for a small batch. Affected buyers, please create a ticket with Banggood customer service.

Just got mine as well, it clearly said 5000k on the box, but the light is nowhere near 5k, the hot spot is white(with greenish corona).

So you are the fourth person to pursue 5000K and get 6500k. I think that no one will get their 5000K because they don’t have any. I contacted banggood and they offered me 6% discount or 400 paint for the inconvenience wich is ridiculous. I am going to ask them if they have any real 5000K units because in my two flashlight there isn’t a slight difference they are exactly the same colour temperature. Most of the time points are useless. There’s usually a better coupon available. They only allow you to use a certain amount of points depending on the price of the item and your VIP level.

Just received mine, and I can confirm that the colour temperature is almost identical to that of my Tool AA 2.0 (the only light with cool white emitter that I own), with a very visible green corona.

I was in a bit of a rush to get it as I didn’t know how long it would take for the EC01 to arrive, so I decided to buy from a UK seller - but will definitely check the Ali store next time. The price for one cell isn’t too different from what I paid, but £12.04 for two of the 4500mAh cells is definitely a bargain!

@Freeme, I have the same issue, I ordered and got delivered a 5000K Version, but its definitely same tint as the 5700K or 6000-6500K versions that my fried got delivered.

I just received four EC01 5000K supposedly, but haven’t even unpacked them waiting for the cells… Not home right now but will surely check on monday. However i’m not worried since the 6500K version was more NW then CW and i was fine with it.
