That looks sweet, LO! (But, uh… Forum*s*?)

I live not far from a Canton. Is this a Canton of the Illinois variety, or another one? I’ll be passing thru Canton, IL soon on my way to deer hunting just a few miles away.

Wow, those are really cool! I could set one on top of the PC!

I live near a “Canton” too, but I suspect it’s not the same one you’re near.

Yea sorry I’m in canton Ohio, I’ll be ordering few parts to make these more cost efficient … will make a separate post when parts arrive

Looks great but drop the S!

yea ill make the change when i make some this weekend or come up with few other flashlight logos

Nice! :+1:

Idle hands are the devil’s workshop. Keep getting bored like this and you’re designing the next blf light

I like your design a lot .
It is reminiscent of one of my favorite flashlight profiles , the Mag 2C .

What format(s) and resolutions are your originals in?

If this does wind up in production somewhere / somewhen, working from vector art (or at least an amusingly high res layered original) will make things flow much better and result in better…, um, results? :student:

I’m using vcarve to design/make the signs

I’ll openly admit to being a minor snob in this realm. Layered .ai, .psd or for low-budgets like me, .odg are the gold standards.

That said….
Something lossless like PNG is perfectly fine.
Better if you can incorporate transparency from the beginning.

As a general guideline, think of the biggest application you can for the final graphic, then make it no less than 4 times bigger. Little mistakes and oddities can get hidden when you scale an image down. They get magnified when you scale it up.

What file formats can you import and turn into 3d models?
