I have two options:

- use 5 bulbs at 5000 Kelvin about 800 Lumens high CRI high R9 with a 5 in 1 adapter but it will be expensive

  • find a large light bulb or corn led at 5000 Kelvin about 4000 Lumens high CRI high R9 and hope it is cheaper

Please save me. :innocent:

I know there are light bulbs with that amount of Lumens but in High CRI likely not
most big companies have only 4000K for replacing conventional light bulbs

Do not know if you already lookup there, but we have an interesting thread for high CRI bulbs with a dedicated list of bulbs we tested on BLF.

Regarding your two needs :

  1. "Yuji" bulbs and "waveform" bulbs seem to both fit all your specs. Both have full tests thanks to maukka. Only potential drawback, ~20$ per bulb.
  2. For such lumens, you can ask some custom makers, like "SunLike" to build something for you. He can go up to do 50W LED bulb from high CRI COBs. Drawback, the BLF test is not done yet, it will be in a few days/weeks. Might be a bit pricey too.

All those candidates are quite detailled (with links to manuf. and tests, etc) in the thread I refered to in my first sentence.

You might also have results by searching D50 calibrated bulbs. But, still, they will be pricey.

Which application is making you specifically look for 5000K ligts?

What is your budget? Is CFL ok?

KinoFlo make 5500k 1400lm R95 compact Fluorescent lamps for photography and cinema. 120V and 240V available. They are matched to HD digital cameras.

They also have a 4600k 700lm LED in E27 edison screw base and only in 240V.

Sorra make professional LEDs but they only get to 4000k. They aren’t cheap either.

SLE30-08-009D-940-03-01 light engine is 4000k 95CRI 95 R9 and 1050lm.

Complete fixtures are availble too… CRI 95, 95 R9 - 4000K or warmer

They also make 2’x2’ light fixtures for grid ceilings that are brighter than you need. But they only go to 4000k.

Just nitpicking, I believe E27 to be the EU standard size, while E26 is the northen america standard size.

Do you if Soraa also makes high CCT bulbs out of those ceiling lights?

As far as I know they don’t make a consumer product from them.

OP might be able use the Soraa 2’x2’ panels.

KinoFlo would meet the specs too but they aren’t cheap. Possibly into the $1000-$2000 range. I’m too lazy to look up the prices.

I’ve seen the KinoFlo lights in demos. They look very good. There are others too but pro movie lighting is waay outside of my work and personal needs so I don’t pay much attention to it.

I use this light to light my work desktop its 5600K

mostly with the fan Off at 20%
I have replaced the fan with a more silent and PWM control of it

Just realized there is another corn bulb with great potential for your #2 case : Marswalled B07PNVTPCR. It currently does not look so great in the BLF table, but this is due to the fact that its R12 value is untested yet. So its comparison is a bit biased. For its "3000 claimed lumens" its price is nice.
