The Green in the UV is weird, but it still seems to work.
A couple of things I didn’t notice in the now discarded instruction manual:
As noted in the manual, the light remembers what color you were on BUT you can force it to white light from OFF with a long press. Nice touch.
4 clicks or more will lock out the light. To unlock click 4 or more and then hold down the switch til the light comes on.
Clicking within a couple seconds from turning it on allows you to step through the output, MLH, but if you’ve left it on for more than 5 seconds or so it thankfully just turns off when you click.
This is a solid little 5th pocket light. Yes there are better lights out there but if you need white light +UV or RED, and tiny size this isn’t a bad choice.
Also the triple click from off for battery voltage is nice.
I got one with a coupon from Freeme. It’s a great little light. The UV emits just enough light to be “moonlight mode” allowing one to find a keyhole or something like that. The high mode on the white light is quite bright.
My only complaint is the lanyard is long and a little goofy, easily fixed.
I like mine a lot!
I think it is great, I like the styling, I like the very small size (smaller than I thought), I even like the user interface, pretty well done. And the price is very good too. If there is time I would like to mod mine, replace the white with a high CRI led and replace the UV with a White Flat. The red is nice as it is
