Hey, Great to know that…TH”ANKS !! :+1:

you guys are so worried about the logistics, that you are missing out on the deal

penny wise, pound foolish

.
.

click on, click off
to change modes there is NO half press on the eSwitch models, you just turn off and back on to change modes

congrats to all you people who scored the sale price
even at full price it is a steal

moderator007, thats great to hear you figured out how to lower the first mode
kudos!

btw folks, if you want to pimp your Tool Clip, to fully captive… get one of these

who wants to pay dutch customs to the USA though?

Thanks, all! Can’t resist the light at the end of the tunnel (for a $AWBUX!).

BTW, just to be clear to everyone — this discount is for “Massdrop” products only. I mistakenly thought it applies to the FIRST order on Drop Studio, regardless of product. I had gone with a knife and never saw the discount applied. I figured it would be retroactively applied at the time of the product ordering period ending, but then wrote to support to confirm… and then learned otherwise.

I already have a couple of copper flashlights, but looking at the other item choices decided to get this AAA flashlight in copper. Can’t beat it for just $10.66 shipped! I’m a little unsure of the UI and brightness. My Jetbeam-U has been so very handy… enough to unseat my old favorite Fenix L0D. But in any case, this can make a great gift item!

It’s not working, I don’t get any discount.
I logged in with a yahoo mail.

Really nice. Titanium?

I wish there were a source shipping them to Germany. [He does on request].

Did you create a new account? You’ll get an email confirming the discount and a link once you sign up for a new account.

You have to create a new account and then Click on the link that’s been sent to your inbox, the discount is only applicable in Drop Studio items, which are mostly mechanical keyboards, non-budget knifes and enthusiast audio gear.

Not a fan of AAA lights or have never EDC’d one but $10 is a steal. There is also a CR123/RCR123 light for $60 that comes with a buck driver good for 1,000 lumens.

The Preon2 Clips Im suggesting are not Ti,
they stick to a magnet, which I like

here it is on the side of my fridge

(Maratac head lego)

I prefer to have a magnet where I want to hold the light. I do not like a magnet attached permanently to the light itself

darksucks used to sell Ti clips for the Original Preon (made by Olight), that look similar, but they dont fit the Lumintop Tool

Public Service Warning
When I first install a battery into an eSwitch Tool, the light does not work.

give it a few minutes to charge up the capacitor in the switch, and soon all fears of malfunction will be a distant memory

Info regarding the preon clip and how to make it work at the head of the light so it can clip to a hat… it needs a conductive shim between the pill and the body…

Thanks for the headsup. You seem like an expert with this light!

I just love how well worn look that light has. Cant wait to get mine!

I was in my copper AAA phase Back in 2015

the eSwitch CU Tool is the culmination of several iterations of the Tool

It is my most used AAA
a Classic Form Factor,
w High CRI and made of
an Oligodynamic Noble Metal

I have a friend that agrees with me

^ Wow, impressive collection!

I heard a guy saying alkaline bats damage flashlights, is it true ? If so what nimh would you recommend ?

If you use them and change regularly they usually are okay, if they sit in an unused light for many months or years they usually leak and get stuck in the light or ruin the light. Try some eneloops.
