FW4A and HL3A interest and discussion thread

;)

but its not final decided to be built iirc

Best possible answer Martin

EDIT about the later added sentence: well, at least you can tell them we want that light  FW421

FW421 (uch it is getting complicated) with 21700 and the length of FW1A, that’s what I’m talking about!

What will be next? FW726? :stuck_out_tongue:

EDIT

They told me today just that It will be also 21700 version, so maybe they’ve already decided… I hope so

Hmm. That headlamp is growing on me, to be honest. Interested.

A few months ago I made a joke prediction which was just a jest about how Lumintop were really milking the FW series and planning to make dozens of variations …

Interested in HL3A. Anduril and Lumintop’s bin of SST-20s will make a good right angle light.

FW4A only if it is a 21700 tube then i am interested.

Interested

Interested!

Interested…

interested

I feel the same way, but I doubt that will happen in this thread.

interested!

Interested in the HL3A

new pictures from the prototypes
(no timeframe when they are ready to sell)

Something changed...

Looks great, except the trit slots!

Those trit slots are a deal breaker for me. Looks like I won’t order any of the 21700 FW lights. Pity!

thats PROTOTYPES - no need for hard feelings ;)

This whole trit thing - I think it’s clear some like them, some don’t - I personally don’t mind (would like a few) unless there are too many to fill, making it cost more than the light itself.
In this case, since it’s in the tail cap which would cost next to nothing (the shell, not innards) maybe make and ‘empty’ tail cap with trit holes, and ship the light with a standard tail cap , or both for an extra charge ($5/8?) - maybe even pre-filled ($20?). People can then put their original innards into their new cap to keep costs down.

On a side note, maybe 3 would suit it better - the 4 holes make it look square, and it doesn’t look right to me, maybe 3 in a triangle?
Not a deal breaker for me though either way - I would prefer to buy it separately though.
