Yep, got one but the tail threads are a little messed up - rough feeling and the anodizing is stripped off at the top thread - haven't greased it up yet but hoping it will help. Button is soft/mushy, as others said. Typical awful XPG3 yellow ring but expected that - want to swap it for a nice 95 CRI SST20.
With all that said though, still a nice quality light, decent output.
The 1 lumen default mode works well in a dark movie theater, but is mostly a PITA at other times. For example, double clicking to go from 1 lumen to medium puts me in the SOS mode most of the time. But I guess that's just me clicking too fast.
Also, there is a brown corona around a cool white beam (noticeable mostly in Med and High) that is unusual to say the least. But this is really only noticeable if you shine it against the wall.
At the price, however, I don't regret the purchase. This flashlight is EDC worthy If I could train myself to wait a second between mode changes.
Why oh why do they insist on sticking blinkies in even an AAA light?!?
Oh, G3s are creepy little chips, especially behind a reflector. Leaves only a TIR or diffusion film to fix it.
Even as a mule, hold it close to any surface and you can see the urine-yellow ring around the cooler center.
Iâd probably just stick with a Glaree as simpler, and no blinkies.
I just had a hateful little alkaleak crap itself in an Ultratac Whatever. Had to hammer out the swollen cell and then spin a wire-brush inside to try to scrape out the leftover salt-block inside. At least I like the light (and UI).
Was hoping the Wube would be a nice change, but with the beam and UI, dunno if thatâll happen.
