I ordered an Astrolux MF01 Mini + HLY 26650 battery combo from Banggood on 11/8, which shipped out on 11/11 although no tracking number was provided. Last night out of the blue my PayPal pops up with a refund from Banggood, no email or anything from them. Today I got on chat and the person said it was returned to them by Customs for security reasons, that it was a sensitive item. I assume it was the battery? I did not even consider that when I ordered it. Now I’ve gotta place another order and start the waiting game all over again. Ugh.
Yup BG has a deep playbook of lies and excuses. I got the same treatment with 3 orders. They have become unreliable, I wont send them another dime and I recommend you dont either. Vote with your wallet.
I’ve been having problems with them and with Gearbest. They both like to sell items that are out of stock and then simply not ship anything. They don’t tell you the item is out of stock until you open a ticket. They try to get you to wait another few weeks after that, as if the item will magically be back in stock, even after they sometimes finally show the item as discontinued.
At least the money got returned …
Im not the biggest banggood fan but customs is beyond their control
Same with me. 15/11 they shipped my order, this morning when I tracked it the status was returned to shipper. Then I have a chat with CS and he said that it was logistic problem. He give option to refund or reship, I choose to reship and he said ok he will arrange to reship my order.
Two hours later, there’s email from BG said that the flashlight that I ordered is out of stock. What the &%S#??

I did end up finding an email from them in my spam folder, explaining the refund as follows:
“Your order has resulted in a refund for Security check failed, contraband, refund.”
Banggood is shipping me CONTRABAND?! WTH?!
So the question now is…since I still want the light, should I re-order from BG or does anyone have a US based seller with a decent price?
It’s because of the battery. Just re-order one without battery.
Forget about chatting with them. You will vomit blood and shorten your life. Their Live Chat is one of the worse I ever see. Email them.
MF01 mini (Al/Cu) shipped on 11/13 and arrived today (11/22) near Seattle: 9 days!
Same here, ordered an MF01 Mini (without Battery!) long ago, after many discussion with Banggood CS (wait, can you please check local Post Office, is your Address correct and so on…) they told me last week that the Parcel have returned to them.
The 5000k Flashlight is now out of stock and they can only refund me.
Well, Groupbuy price gone and tint also.
I am very, very pleased with Banggood after the fiasco with the Astrolux FT02… 
Now… If the package was returned to them, how can the flashlight be out of stock? They have at least one! Just reship the one that was returned!!
Id say it never was in stock. Mine failed the >security< check with no battery.
