Things got delayed, but it should be out very soon if I understand correctly. I have a tracking number for hardware so I can do the final calibration on it, and then I’m guessing it’ll be available to buy almost immediately afterward.
One nice side effect of putting easy flashing pads on it is that hardware can be manufactured before the firmware is complete, and then items can simply be updated before shipping.
Hank, can you please reveal some details about the color LED options already? I once posted here a link to the Osram Ostar Projection Compact LE R Q8WP (625nm) but maybe the Luminus SBT90 Red is the one we will find in the red Noctigon K1 (1.600lm red light @ 13.5A)?
Among the many things that I love about D4Sv2 there are a few minor gripes.
One is that the aux LEDs are in the optics and not on the switch. This prevents me from displaying battery status while using the light.
Yeah, the bling is nice but for me this light was meant to be a tool rather than a toy.
It’s nice to see this fixed in Noctigon K1.
BTW, will there be a SBT90.2 option? I would much prefer it over Astrolux FT02 because of Anduil and flashling pads.
