Performance is around the same as a TN40 v2. I guess they could get a bit more out of it if they tried but it still seems pretty good for it’s size and price. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Maybe the actual production version will perform better.
I wouldn’t mind a deep red color.

Mateminco sent me these SBT90.2 white and red.
These photos does look promising, even though they are overexposed. But we need an honest head to head comparison with FT03 SST40

If it’s an actual RED and not the washed-out red that was on the MF01S, then hell yeah.

interested and wait for the best price
I would be interested how you guys think this light compares to Noctigon k1 performance/price wise.
I know its hard to compare different types of emitters but simply throw distance could tell a lot.
Is there a price estimate on these ft03 SBT90.2 jet?
Interested.
My guesses:
Price:
similar, FT03 might be a little cheaper
Throw distance:
K1 will win
Beam width:
FT03 will be way way better
Overall beam thinness makes K1 a very specialized tool. FT03 with SBT90.2 will be much more universal despite not throwing as far.
That said I expect that Hank will offer SBT90.2 eventually, though he hasn’t commented on the topic yet.

I remembered someone told me that anodize coating is generally stronger than cerakote?
