Sofirn Aliexpress Store added some stock in US, Poland and Russian

Looks like sofirn has been unable to fulfill some of their 11.11 orders and have been marking items as shipped with fake tracking numbers when nothing has been sent to the carrier

Basically they are selling stuff they dont have in stock and preventing you from cancelling the order by falsely marking it as shipped :wink:

Jackie would you look at my order from 11.11+ ID.8006024117971617+ after 8 days of un-track tracking no. provided now it show ” Shipment Cancelled ” so what next ?

Not a problem. My orders had a delivery guarantee “Delivered before 12/07 or full refund.”

Annoyingly, the date on AE changed to 12/11 after they “shipped” the order just before 4 days after I placed it, which is AE’s limit before the order is automatically cancelled. At least I have screenshots of the 12/07 date on the product page in case I need it.

My tracking info was last updated on 2019/11/22 with “Despatch from Sorting Center.”

Another Sofirn order from ebay arrived in only two weeks even after a detour to Germany.

Where are you getting your information? If you are just assuming this because the tracking numbers don’t currently show up, you may not be aware that this is quite common. It doesn’t mean the tracking number is fake, it just means it’s not showing up yet. Sometimes they will send you a tracking number unique to your country, but you won’t get info on it until it reaches your country and is handed over to the local post. Other times the tracking number may work sooner, but only certain tracking websites will show it. So please don’t make a knee jerk, false accusation unless you have some type of proof. Most people here know this already, but there might be a few people here who might actually believe you and you get them worried for no reason.

I just use the tracking details in AliExpress, but it usually doesn’t get updated past when it first lands in the destination country.

They are marking with fake shipping numbers before the auto-cancel (if unable to ship within a few days). Otherwise the auto cancel will affect their store ratinf.

The problems is that nothing is shipped, theres no updates of it being accepted by the carrier nor does the tracking number exist on the carriers site.

This also prevents you from cancelling the order, which should have been auto cancelled the moment they failed to actually ship

Its an old aliexpress trick used by dishonest sellers

Even mentioning the above results in sofirns CS refusing to talk to you about yr order

And what’s the problem? Either wait for it to arrive within the ETA or you can open an AliExpress dispute later. Why would you want to cancel the order because of this?

I have not had any problems with Sofirn. My own assumption for my 11-11 Sofirn order is the number provided is an internal tracking number - because I just received notice from USPS that my items are now in the US and soon to be on my door step. I have two separate orders coming from Sofirn and both are making their way. Another none BLF item is not scheduled to arrive until just before the New Year. It takes a while to get items from China and that is clearly stated when you order - usually 2-4 weeks, most often 2-3 weeks.

Because is dishonest to assign fake tracking numbers and also dishonest to orders you cant fulfill and leave the customer hanging thinking its going to be sent within a reasonable time

Lumintop or even liitokala for example had stuff that were sold out during 11.11 and you couldnt order, rather than sell stuff that wasnt in stock

17track is a good one. Some other good tracking sites have been mentioned on BLF, but I can’t remember them off hand.

So either you receive it on time, or you get your goodies for free. Is that such a bad deal?

Does anyone order stuff from China expecting quick delivery? I’m used to 3-6 weeks wait, and if I get it in 2 weeks, that’s a surprise.

If you need guaranteed deliveries, check out Fedex International Priority Weekend delivery or equivalent. I was shocked that a company sent me an item from 4000km away, delivered in 24 hours on a Saturday. But it probably cost them $100.

Hell they may not even be able to cancel

I have 8 Sofirn lights and they all work reliably. I bought them through Amazon, AliExpress, and most recently through eBay; obviously the shipments from Asia took a few weeks to arrive. I have emailed Sofirn customer service on several occasions with questions; they have always emailed me back within 24 hours, their responses courteous and to the point.

As said in summary they are selling OUT OF STOCK items and not telling you …

Personally I don’t care about their inventory status as long as they fulfil their contract to me. Meanwhile some patience doesn’t hurt.

But speaking of stock, I noticed on 11.11 that they were playing with the stock numbers to consistently show low stock, and when I thought it would be gone, more would “appear”. So who knows what they’re up to…

You are doing exactly what you are implying the original poster has done. You are making assumptions and throwing around terms like ‘knee jerk’ & ‘false accusation’ despite not having actual knowledge of the specific situation. I understand you are trying to help, but your tendency to insert yourself in situations is at times counterproductive.

Note that this “tracking number” was supposed to be generated 10 DAYS AGO, and is supposed to be ePacket

Also note that all my other 11.11 good shipped via the same shipping methods have updated tracking numbers that exist
