AliExpress Sofirn Official Store doesn't ship orders and doesnt respond

Is this fulfilled by amazon?

If so the tracking should be real

I never buy anything off amazon that aint fulfilled by them

It is difficult to understand them. The promised replacement USB-C rubber cover flaps for my LT1 lantern were shipped 11-11 and arrived today. I followed the package via the tracking number provided with no issues. The LT1 ordered the same day on their 11-11 sale…. well, I’m waiting for anything to show happening. Sit back and chill out. Have a

No, the LT1’s being sold on Amazon are not FBA. The page says “Ships from and sold by Sofirn.”

Over the years have gotten fake tracking #’s from BangGood, Gearbest, Wallbuys (RIP), Ebay sellers, list goes on.
Here is one problem, with the advent of being able to print your own postage from your computer, you can get a real tracking number on the package but it is never going to start to track until you actually ship it and it gets scanned into the tracking system.

So they print a stack of shipping labels and wait for stock or wait until they have 500 items to take to post office, etc.
This is just another one of the issues that we have to put up with when dealing directly with Chinaman.

Usually if the item is sold through Amazon they will have more incentive to get it actually shipped fairly fast as compared to Aliexpress.
One other piece of friendly advice,

NEVER EVER PAY FOR DHL,EXPRESS,ETC.shipping, you just wasted your money if they don’t have it in stock (for real) they can’t ship it express.
Peace out

Keith

Here’s another problem with Express shipments from China. The same problem I have when order a bulk from Alibaba.

They tend to use forwarders since the retail rate DHL/Fedex offers is usually way more than they could afford. That also adds to transit time until it actually reaches the carrier. Then the tracking number might then be replaced by the forwarder’s.

Sofirn Ali Store - 12 orders in 12 months, no dramas, it gets delivered within 2-6 weeks.

Have had plenty of BG, GB and AE shipments not tracking until it gets to domestic delivery stage - ie for me only tracks once it gets to Australia.

If you want it quick, buy local. If you want it cheap, buy Chinese.

The only time I purchased a torch locally was when it was AUD$180odd dollars and I wanted local consumer warranty protection.

After asking Sofirn via Aliexpress store messenger about my 11/11 order they issued a second tracking number about a week ago. The second tracking number finally has movement: Dec 3, 2019 22:54 - EMS China Post - Despatch from Sorting Center

Perhaps my 11/11 BLF LT1 is finally on the way. I am happy I only paid $48.33, hopefully it arrives without issue.

I contacted them last Thursday and this Monday, they haven’t responded to me. Also bought on 11/11 and my tracking number was created on 13/11, with no movement after that.

Glory! The trackingnr. that Sofirn gave me six days ago as a replacement for the one that wasn’t one is finally picked up by 17track : ready for shipment.

Still no movement on the 3 fake numbers they gave me …

I asked em to cancel everything before they sent me the 2nd fake number

Dispute will be decided soon, after that its a credit card dispute if that doesnt work

As a note i ordered off littokaala again yesterday and the good were dispatched within a few hours with real tracking

My SP33 V3 ordered on 11/11 arrived in my country of residence (Spain) just fine in just two weeks. So I guess I lucked out with Sofirn.

It's "cleared customs" according to all tracking sites. Now it has been sitting there for 9 days with no movement pending deposit into the local postal service... and it's weirding me out, it's not China anymore, deliver me my damn package. At this rate it'll take as much time to deliver it across a comparatively small European country as it did to deliver all the way from China. I could only guess this is some before Christmas jam or something. I am annoyed.

Well, you guys were right, I checked the tracking. They still havent shipped it. They promised to ship it yesterday and didnt. Sofirn AliExpress store has horrible customer service. If they told me the truth like: “we dont have them, we will have them again on x.x.x date”, I would be ok with it. But it looks like they are full of shit and would rather lie.

Start a dispute now

If its helpful i can provide a post on what to say

I could fo that, but I got a really great bargain on those items. They cost much more regularly. More than money back I would like those items.

Well as long as u dont need em for xmas …

Even aliexpress knows they lied about shipping and didn’t send anything

So late yesterday I noticed that the tracking number from the 11/11 order changed, after the first number never showed up in any tracking system since 11/18. Today the new tracking number shows "Processed Through Facility CHANGSHA EMS" :-) So good. The order seems to be really on the way. However, I will never understand why it is so difficult for companies to be honest and forthright about being unable to ship something as speedily as usual. Products do go out of stock. Products are later in arriving than was hoped for.

A bit of honesty goes a long way to create and maintain trust between people. It is not all that hard. A little more of "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" would help everyone.

I don’t know. This seems like to be the symptom of a problem up in the Sofirn’s managment & supervision rather than the actual malice of the company as a whole…

I’d presume that the company does have some sizable employees in charge of the shipping/order management. There might be some unscrupulous employees among the rank of employees that needs to be rehabiliated.

I made about a dozen orders from Sofirn’s Aliexpress stores for many dozens of their lights in the last 2 years. Their customer service have always been very top notch and super responsive. I had several replacement parts or entire replacement flashlights sent to me without needing to send back my defective ones. One time it was my own mistake too and I got a free replacement. I also ordered several lights from them during the 11/11 sale and received it this week.

Regarding those tracking numbers, the tracking numbers are likely not fake. You won’t be able to track them until the slow boat reaches US shores and the US delivery service picks up and scans the package. Actually, I’ve had many items never register in the tracking system at all even after I received the items.

I know tracking numbers show little if anything after leaving a Chinese EMS facility, until the USPS gets ahold of the item. However, it is a totally different thing when all of a sudden the tracking number changes and then within 24 to 48 hours the records go from nothing found to some useful information. Tracking numbers don’t change once issued.

This is probably all related to the Asian concept of Face; “losing or saving face” is a very foreign concept to the western way of conducting business. I’ve been buying from Asian markets for a deade or so now. Should know better I guess. :person_facepalming:

The idea that tracking numbers dont show up beyond “ready for dispatch” before leaving china is simply wrong

They do show up when it is a REAL number

This is another 11.11 order through epacket, even the cheap china post ones show SOMETHING

Beyond that is the simple fact that they have been selling goods not made yet and in some cases posting an intial and possibly second FAKE tracking number
