Acebeam K30 (with mirrored tail board)

Thanks for your work Lexel! Just to let people know, this will be used in the LT Tool 25 and in some other 2xAA (soon to be 2x14500) flashlights !!

Thanks again and I’m sure other people will grab these too

I think this will be the final version

about 3.5 hours went into the design

Can this driver be used to drive a UV LED in a Tool 25 with 2x 14500? Will it regulate the current until the batteries are depleted to 6V?

Hi Lexel,

Will this work with Acebeam K30 GT with SBT90.2 LED?

The FET has no current limitation, the small current resistors have current limiting function but no regulation and are only useable with 6V LEDs

No regular 6V XHP

15mm 2S drivers are now ready for production

I need one for my S42. Can you send me info on where I can buy one? I also have an issue with the charger in it. Can you replace this also?

I cant replace the charging board, only option to use it without

Ok. Where to buy the board with the new ui?

I must be overlooking it but where do I buy the new driver from for the S 42?

Send Lexel a Personal Message with your driver request info. It’s the blue button under his name that says “Send PM”.

Oooooooo PM coming

Okay, so I’ve pulled apart my MF01 driver (the buck one, v2.1) that I got from you; everything’s working fine, just re-wiring it. Just testing with the DMM and I seem to be getting 140-150 ohms between LED+ and LED-. Unsure if that’s expected behaviour; seems to be happening on both sets of emitter wires. Open to thoughts! I’m reflowing it now on a heating platform in case I’ve done something stupid somehow.

OR

Is it possible to get this image redone without the components on it, so I can trace and isolate?

Measuring this is no defect its just that the Shottky diode gets conductive by your DMM
they respond very fast and can deliver high currents but also have a quite considerable leak current

diode test shows me one side about 0.1V the other side 2.8V

a proper test would be a current-limited source of like 1A and then measure the current in both ways

Awesome, thanks mate. Was just re-doing my wiring on it, and got a short (thankfully tested before putting power to it), and have been chasing it down and then noticed that.

phew

The buck chip has no problem with shorted output, it will just leave you in the dark till its removed
