It’s not a trend at all. Aliexpress sells millions of goods every day. How many of them have you learned to say that? I just checked about 80 knives and only two of them have a fixed base price. Please stop fooling and justify your conclusions about obsolescence and uselessness and not just draw these conclusions without reasoning and answers to specific questions.
For some goods I see different coupons, in particular
“US $3.00 New User Coupon”,
“US $8.00 off per US $150.00”,
“US $1.00 off on US $16.00” for the $15.2 item,
“US $3.00 Orders over US $4.00 Dec 1, 12:00 AM PT - Jan 1, 12:00 AM PT”
“US $3.00 Orders over US $30.00 Expires Dec 22, 04:35 AM PT”,
“US $5.00 Orders over US $56.00 Expires Dec 27, 04:35 AM PT” and dozens, if not hundreds of others.
Moreover, such coupons for different countries may differ or be absent altogether. What will the chart look like if all these cases are shown on it?
Here are some examples of different situations when the graphs provide very useful information. Look at them.
At what price would you prefer to buy, $21 or $60? Without this price chart, you would not understand at what price it is better to buy and how much you risk overpaying.

Another example, $15-17 or $47? https://www.pricearchive.org/aliexpress.com/item/32861969511
Having such a price chart in front of your eyes, you get confidence in your purchase. Without this price chart, you run the risk of overpaying
very much.

For expensive purchases, I often check the trend of price changes to understand what will happen to the price in the near future.

or (If the item has been sold for more than a year, I would like to know what prices were during the last sale. By the way, Pricearchive is the only price tracker for Aliexpress where you can find data for 2017 and 2018. I would also like to add that the number of points on the price chart is very important. Other price trackers have a lot of gaps between the points. Their price charts are meaningless.)

How to know the trend without these price charts?
Millions of people use Camel3x, Keepa for Amazon, Pricearchive for Aliexpress and other price trackers for other stores. Maybe you just don’t understand that cases may be different, why price trackers are needed and how to use them? Please with reasoning and answers to my cases.
