Also, it looks like there are secondary green LEDs but they don’t work (MF01 Mini - adjustment screw does nothing except for blue and magenta). Is this normal as the pictures show three colors?
Unfortunately, green never turns on, even at full charge and doing a battery check test (triple click). Thank you for confirming the normal behavior; I will contact banggood about this.
Compared to the womanly pink ones yeah (I’ll turn those down instead of green)… Plus it’s only when it is off and won’t affect the main light anyhow. To each his own (Forest Green > Girly Pink any day, my how times have changed)…
You can’t go wrong with the first one, it works; but it would be nicer if it was a bit shorter for a perfect fit. Second option is probably better if you go with some thin racket grip tape as I mentioned.
I’ve had this flashlight for a month and can give a short review.
The light has a high output even in the SST20 4000K version. It’s not very throwy, more of a floody but dut to ots hight output can shine far away even with its floody beam.
There are some thermal issues with this light but if you are not fixating on them you may even not notice. There is a mod prepared by “man of light” to fix them. Also “lexel” contacted manufacturers so maybe they will implement it in future runs.
The voltage measurement may not be 100% correct but you can flash the firmware to correct it.
The flashlight body is robust and if you drop it it will most likely fall on the ss bezel or bottom. I dropped it a few time and it still works great. Its bit scratched and beaten up but didnt fail on me.
I only used the USB C charger once and it worked very well and acceptably fast.
Considering the price I paid for it, there are few bugs they should fix in next versions, but all in all a great flashlight, I EDC it. Currently my favourite dog walking, poop picking flashlight.
When i charge for the first time my mini with usb the green not turns on , after that i discharge and charge the battery with a Charger and Green turn on.
