EMISAR D4S V2 26650

I ask for help. Can I set the desired color(RGB aux LED s) of auxiliary diodes or change constantly?

There are a bunch of settings and you can have them different for different modes. I have mine set as a fixed color (usually red or magenta) when in “normal” mode and flashing or battery check when locked out.

Has anyone measured the current consumption of the XPL-HI and Nichia versions in turbo mode?

If I recall correctly, the Nichia version has a Nichia-specific firmware that limits the current for the Nichia version (assuming the Nichia version Anduril firmware is used). Something like 80% of the max compared to the XPL-Hi/XPL-HD/SST20 versions of the D4S).

Yes, but I thought the current limit aims to bring the heat output of the Nichia down to the level of the non-Nichia version. But that does not appear to be the case. At least not on my D4SV2s. My D4SV2 Nichia runs much cooler than my D4SV2 XPL-HI, unlike my D4V2 Nichia, which runs as hot as my D4V2 XPL-HI.

I would call this a win:

Very nice! A 5°C overshoot is completely acceptable considering the thermal sensor is not on the same PCB as the LEDs are.

Little config upgrade for the D4SV2:

I don’t really understand the bump at ~ 13 seconds. Must have to do with the way the ramp table is setup on this light.

I ask for help. I did not find how to return to the factory settings. Now it works like this .- When I press the button, I turn it on and off and there is the possibility of increasing the brightness. I can’t check the charge level (3 clicks), I can’t turn on additional color diodes (7 clicks). I ask for help
P.S. He removed the back cover, but nothing has changed.

Factory Reset: Loosen tailcap, Hold button, Tighten tailcap, Hold 3 seconds

Many thanks for the help. I would be very grateful if you could help in setting the strobe (brightness) and changing the color of additional color diodes. Now it’s green. Modes change 7 clicks. But I can’t adjust a different color. And I can’t adjust the maximum brightness of the strob.

To change the aux LED brightness level / mode:

In “off” mode: Click 7 times.
In “lockout” mode: Click 3 times.

To change the aux LED color:

In “off” mode: Click 7 times, and hold the last click until the desired color is reached.
In “lockout” mode: Click 3 times, and hold the last click until the desired color is reached.

I apologize. When you click 7 times and hold on 7 clicks, nothing happens. Diodes do not turn on

Unfortunately, the translation of this scheme is difficult. For this reason, I have many questions and requests for help.
I make 7 clicks and hold on the last, BUT color additional LEDs do not turn on. When I make 7 clicks without holding, it turns on and constantly changes color

I’m sorry perhaps someone else can give a better explanation

Maybe you can go to private messages where you can write a text description ??? I had D4S, but there were no such questions there. not Anduril

I’ll be very grateful.

If it helps, there is a text manual available:
