Mine came in today. I guess for $18 i canât complain to much. Build quality seems a little low to what Iâve come to expect from Sofirn. Threads on one end were a little messed up with a loose sliver of metal hanging off of one thread. Cap seems pretty thin as well. The clip that the light snaps into is all plastic. There is a small plastic piece that serves as the angular adjustment for the lamp and meshes into the metal body. It doesnât take much to move it and first time I grabbed the light to take it off my head, I pulled it out of the clip. The light is plenty bright enough and the UI is decent but the build quality is a little lacking. It wonât replace my Fenix nor was I expecting it to. Itâll serve the purpose for occasional use.
Just a reminder for new owners - Member gchart designed an improved headlamp holder that fits on the existing band, and released the files to the Thingiverse. My public library will 3D print for a little more than the cost of materials!
Thatâs what I love about this place - show us a flashlight, and someone will surprise you with an improvement!
