Led4power.com : LD-4 CC linear drivers, ILC-0/1 illuminated tailcaps, optics, MOSX, copper DTP MCPCBs...

I hope for the Boost HX becoming stocked

Copy that… nice one jozz!

Hello everyone and happy New Year!

Store is open and it should work, please contact me if something doesn't work.

For now there is no new stuff, but I'm working on it, especially on drivers, but they will take some more time to finish, since it's a lot of work.

But a lot (90%+ I would say) of stuff in store is on New Year/early spring clearance sale, most of mosX MCPCBs,Luxeon MZ, SST-20, alu spacers etc.

Most of those, once they are sold out, will be no longer available.

Also one note, LEDs and optics are not available in "bare" form due to some business reasons, you can still (technically) buy bare LEDs by purchasing 16 or 20mm DTP PCBs and checking "Don't solder LED" box. You will need to buy DTP PCB of course, but most of them is on clearance sale anyway, so price is good. You can also buy optics together with compatible MCPCBs, there is checkbox "add xxx optics" option.

Also, most prices are now nice and "round", on more silly x.9x prices.

In 2020 I will spend more time on developing new generation of DTP PCBs, springs and drivers, with focus on innovation.

Yep the site is up and working fine… ordered a couple CULNM+1.TG *1mm2 20mm and a couple of the Q8 boards… thanks Neven and Happy New Year!

Welcome Back!

Why?
I had 10 luxeon v2 in the basket without mcpcbs. I would like to buy them without mcpcb because I don’t need them and they inflate the price. If we can buy leds without soldering, why can’t you buy leds separately, without mcpcbs?

If you don’t want to change it, could you at least add the “Don’t solder LED” option to triples and quads?

You mean you are buying 1 LED and 9 spares right?

9 leds and 1 spare. I want to put them in G180.

Lol just kidding trying to work around the rules

Happy New Year!

Neven, would removing the mosfet and bridging the connection on the MosX MCPCB with the Luxeon MZ allow it to be used like a normal MCPCB with only two power leads connected from a standard driver?

Interested in using one in a standard triple host without use of an LD-B4 driver.

Hey, happy new year, Neven.
I just bought some stuff a few hours ago.

I really hope you’ll have some e-switch drivers for us soon.

@kelsey Lovely polished bare Aluminium.

Just one driver teaser information, there will be two main types of drivers, one clicky only (lower cost and size) and other clicky and e-switch (high end) driver, hardware concept is done on paper, next step is prototypes and of course software part. First type of driver(clicky only) will be released first. All drivers will be for 1S (4.3V), HV (1S-4S) version of second type of driver will come later, after 1S development and release.

Any chance for BLF firmware on that e-switch driver?..………

Let's say new drivers UI should be flexible enough that you will be able to mimic most UIs.

I see…
There’s no way I will like it nearly as much as my hand-tuned Andruil.
But considering that your clicky UIs were very good for clicky UIs I expect quite a lot from this one.
There’s no chance it will be excellent for me but it is likely to be at least fair. I have some but hope that it will actually be good - but not much hope.

Bureaucracy reasons, my start-up company is not registered for trade (re-selling), so I'm technically allowed to sell only my own products. "My own products" could be basically any new product that's different from input raw material. So LED + MCPCB (soldered or not) is new product, LED alone is not new product. To get trade registration in my country you need to have >50m2 (expensive) separate warehouse no matter if you are selling 0402 resistors(and your whole stock can fit in your backpack), or cars. There was one case where inspection closed e-book store (yes, digital downloadable books) because owner did not have 50m2 warehouse for e-books LOL.

I added "don't solder LEDs and NTC" to for 20mm quad CuDTP:

https://led4power.com/product/4x-luxeon-v2-3000k-4000k-5000k-70cri-led-on-20mm-4xp-dtp-copper-mcpcb/?preview=true

Yes, there is checkbox for that option (no FET and NTC) for 32/34mm MZ boards, I added this too for 3xMZ 20mm board:

https://led4power.com/product/3x-luxeon-mz-5700k-90cri-led-lmz9-qw57-on-20mm-3xv-mosx-mcpcb-with-mosfetntcwires/?preview=true

You don't need to use jumper on 20mm mosX boards, you can solder wire directly to FET big pad:

xD

Is Luxeon V 4000k unavailable? I can’t find a quad. There is only 5700k

It's out of stock, currently I have only 5700K.
