You can get DC-Fix film. It doesn’t change the color of the beam, just blends everything together. Works very well. You can buy it from member Boaz here. You do lose 7% light output but it’s unnoticeable. It should blend the beam better than an OP reflector.
I just got one with the XHP70.2 at 5000k it is at least as bright with a similar light pattern as my emisar d4ti at 4800k now I need to get a usb-c cable to charge it I also have a JKK13 with the removable head so that it can be just a power bank. nice light I’m glad I got it. It cant be locked out though.if you leav it in low when you turn it off it’s not bad it has memory.

“XHP50.2/XHP70.2 Version:
Mode: 6-mode high / middle/ low, Double click within one second turn to Turbo mode (super bright mode), fast click 3 times Strobe / SOS, long press 2 seconds to turn off.”
The long press 2 seconds to turn off was the only reason I haven’t bought one of these yet. I wish they would update the UI for single click for on/off.
I have a few lights with the long press to turn off and I can live with 0.5 second to 1 second, but my original DQG Tiny 26650 has a full 2 seconds and it gets on my nerves.
I didn’t really count how long it takes to turn my JKK03 off, but the delay is long enough to annoy me, as I can’t instantly turn off the light whenever I want to do so.
I’d like to know more about this JKK flashlight with powerbank feature.
Would the JKK03 be similar (slightly stouter) to the Sofirn SP33 / Convoy S11 in size?
And the JKK36 is maybe similar to the Convoy M3 in size or smaller?
What’s the main difference in terms of beam pattern of the JKK03 vs JKK36, assuming the same LED were chosen in both models (eg. both are using XHP50.2 or both are using XHP70.2)?
Just ordered the new model JKK36R (4000K) USB type C cable included from Ali.
Says they changed the mode pattern to Low-Medium-High.
Funny but I already have an XHP70.2 4000K in both an upgraded Magicshine style bike light clone and a fairly new KDLITKER BL70S, and wouldn’t describe either as Warm as listed on Ali (KD says NW for 4000K and I agree.) Though for some reason those emitters in my two mismatched lamps don’t seem to share the same exact tint, maybe the binning is slightly different or the larger reflector on the KD makes it seem a little more creamy. In any case both have very good color, can’t imagine the 5000K emitter offering any improvement.
Also have a couple of the JKK03 4000K on order from KD, am hoping to be able to fit 39mm wide angle lenses inside their bezels to smooth out their beams with minimal loss. Would install them with the grooves running horizontally to produce an elongated spot rather than wide ellipses so they’d still be pretty throwy. (Diffusing film I applied to my BL70S does a great job eliminating rings but kinda kills the throw.)
Will be a while before any of these flashlights arrive but will report back then.
I have the JKK36 from aliexpress with OP reflector and at least outside there is no such effect visible for me. It is definitely larger than the Sofirn SP33
However, for everyday walk I prefer the JKK70 4000K OP with the 26650 Battery, which is somewhat smaller than the Convoy M3. Light Output in the wild is similar, though Convoy claims more lumens (4300 vs. 3600). However the M3 is built like a tank with considerable higher wall thickness of the battery tube, thus making it also heavier.
I have a March K3 with a SST-20, I will probably swap it with a boost driver and 144A. If the beam is still bad I might have to try those pebbled TIRs.
