Doesn’t the link take you to Amazon with all the Lumintop lights pulled up. Once you click on light the coupon is right under the price, you have to activate it there or in your shopping cart and click free shipping then update cart. When going to the link, all the coupons are listed in green, the 55% off ones are the good deals. Down to 5 ED20-T and 11 B01, still lots of TD15S.
I pay sales tax on every online purchase, and most of my Amazon deals have been through third party vendors. I even pay sales tax on purchases from TwoSun Knife Company on eBay, and all are from China.
A state can charge sales tax on out of state internet purchases if it chooses. It can’t compel the vendor to collect the tax unless the vendor has a substantial presence in the state.
In 2018, the Supreme Court lessened Quill, but as far as I can tell the new rules are still being implemented. (I am not a lawyer, if you need legal advice, see one).
Got my ED20-T today from Amazon, was shipped from China for some reason so it took awhile. Just wondering if anyone else’s didn’t come with a manual? Don’t really need it but it’s just odd not to get that with a Lumintop light. It’s a nice light for less then $13, holster is a bit too tight tho, might just use it with the FW3A instead.
I ordered 2 of the ED20-T for $20.70, and before they arrived, I ordered 2 more, when they went on sale again for $11.70.
I received the first two in 4 days from ordering, and did 8 hrs of burn-in, on high mode, on each of them, and they both failed with the same symptom of only the momentary button functioning. Power switch was completely non-functional. So you’re left with a 750lm momentary light.
Tail cap driver retaining rings did not loosen, on battery swaps, like the second order of 2 ED20-T did, that were shipped from China, 3 weeks later.
I returned the first 2 ED20-T I received, that failed, back to Amazon, for full refund.
I received the second order of 2 of the ED20-T, in 3 weeks from ordering, from China. One of them was missing the orange lanyard and o-rings. And they both appeared to be factory refurbs, by the appearance of handling, and very tiny nicks in the anodizing. Not nicks from being dropped. But essentially new looking.
I have burned both of them in, for 20 hours on high mode, cycling the switches periodically. Neither have failed yet. But they both have the annoying problem of the tail cap driver retaining ring loosening, upon removing the tail cap, for battery swaps.
I need to put a small dab of lock-tite on them, once I confirm they too, don’t fail.
I will probably do another 10-12 hours of burn-in, but as it looks now, Lumintop may have repaired and returned these back to Retail sale. Which seems a bit under-handed to do. But for $11.70, I’ll be happy with them, if they resolved the power switch issue, and they continue to function.
I really like the ED20-T size, and it being a non-turbo 750lm light, with dual tail switches. And it can be weapon mounted.
If you remove the rubber tactical ring, it looks like a 18650 version of the Lumintop Tool AA 2.0, but with dual tail switches.
Nice design, and a bit unique, with having the driver in the tail cap.
If you read ED20-T YouTube comments, others have experienced the power switch failure issue, as well.
Amazon seems to have removed all the older reviews regarding the ED20-T, since this item has been released in spring of 2015.
