"True" brand AA 90° light.

I was given a "true" brand 90° right angle AA flashlight and I'm curious to know if it would handle a 14500 battery or if it would damage the circuitry. Any and all help is appreciated and thank you for your time.

I wouldn’t recommend 14500 at all in it, there was no thermal paste in the one I cooked… I wonder if yours has the same huge parasitic drain though

It's a cheap light, which is too bad because I love the design. I would like to have something like it that would take a 14500. I'll look into it. Thanks for the reply! I haven't noticed any parasitic drain yet, but I can see that it had a battery in it that leaked.

Is this it ?

High /low? Specs are pretty hard to find on it.

That's it. I'm having a hard time finding information about it also.

I believe it is a “True Utility Angelite”!

It seems to be discontinued in their site (well, it doesn’t appear there….) . https://www.trueutility.com/
Knowing them, and knowing Nebo, I would’t use a 14500 battery in it!
