Group Buy Now Live - BLF GT90 SBT-90.2 powered 5,000 Lumen, 1.8Mcd / 2600m Super Thrower

The beam shots in the video look great, but how long will it run on turbo? Is it like 30 sec max or around that?

As he says in the video, you can disable the thermal control (or raise the temperature much higher then factory) and it will never step down from turbo.

At some point in the video he compares the lights at 15 minutes of runtime and the GT90 has much better output.

Now days I tend to disable thermal control on lights that only I use, I only leave it on on lights that others might use.

^ thanks, I should have watched the whole video but jumped right to the beam shots instead.

You guys aren’t gonna believe what I’m looking at right now….4 days from Hong Kong to Texas.

And to think the mfo4s I paid for from bangOK almost a month ago is still wandering around the earth.

THANKS NEAL! And Ace, and everyone else who played a part in this

Great, glad you like it!

Only 100 pcs for a BLF GB, to me, is a slap in the face to the forums. With as much support as this forum has given lumintop, id expect a little more opportunity for forum members to get a GB price. I’m not necessarily interested in this light, I’m holding out for the GT4. BUT, with the little information on it and no indication of this project even before release, I have to question whether lumintop is really interested in workin on BLF projects anymore. Maybe it’s time another manufacturer steps up and takes the lead on future forum projects of the such.

The 100 lights is not by choice, it is by necessity due to VERY limited supply of the SBT-90.2 LED’s. It took them months to get these 100 LED’s. (big part of why I refused to start the GB months ago when they first wanted me too, I wanted to make sure they had the parts before going live).

They said if they can get more LED’s at the same price then they can sell more at the GB price but they do not know how much the next batch of LED’s will cost right now or when they will get them.

You’re lucky, Neal doesn’t reply emails about shipping of my GT90.

here we go again…

Today, I’ve sent my last email to Neal. After this, I’ll request to paypal for full refund.

PS: Neal just answered to my email.

People should keep in mind that not all sellers check their emails often. I’ve bought a bunch of stuff from Neal and everything always arrive so just have some patience. If I were impatient like many folks here and expect replies within a few days, I would have filed paypal complaints for half of my purchases. I learned that buying from bargain outlets in China, most are one-man shops that don’t check emails once they get busy. That’s just the way it works and what I expect in exchange for bargain deals. Otherwise just buy from Illumn.com (though they don’t carry this yet).

I talked to Neal today, he said that he replied to all emails.

He has been doing better recently for me anyways, normally takes a few days but he has been getting back to me within a week in most cases. Not ideal by any means but for a newlywed Dad running a 1 man shop international business, I can’t say I can judge him too hard.

Anyone going into this should indeed be aware that there will more then likely be delays in communication from him and possibly shipping, although thus far he seems to be shipping them out basically as fast as lumintop gets them to him.

Damn
I like, I want, but cant afford it

Damn
I like, I want, cant afford it, ordered it . :frowning:

Someone stop me. :confounded:

I have felt like that since I first got into flashlights over 10 years ago. I managed to break away from them for awhile, but they just keep pulling me back in…

lol, figured someone would catch that.

…and I thought I was alone in this…disease…

1. Stay away from Oranges T/A….THE GODFATHER: What's With the ORANGES?

Can’t wait to see a shipping notice from Neal and then the wait will begin =D
