Introducing Next Generation of the EC35

The Acebeam EC35 Gen II is the upgraded version of the original EC35. With an improved LED, charging system, and aesthetic, this light translates into a must-have EDC. Powered by a single 18650 battery, the EC35 Gen II utilizes a Samsung LH351D LED to provide a stunning 1100 lumen output. This powerful beam makes it easy to accomplish daily tasks or take with you camping, hiking, or traveling. Featuring a built-in USB-C charging port this Acebeam light can recharge super fast making it easy to get it back into your flashlight rotation and keep it on hand as an every day carry. Don’t have time to charge or have a powered up 18650 on hand? Easy. Replace that battery with two CR123A batteries and you’re all set to go. Constructed with Acebeam quality in mind, the brand new EC35 Gen II is set to impress and dazzle any EDC user.

So it has less output and less peak intensity than the previous model, got 2mm longer but now has integrated charging via USB-C?

Edit: It also got 2 independent switches now?? That’s GREAT! I would LOVE to see an 18350 version of this, since dimensionwise it’s just too close to the excellent Acebeam T36 for me.

I’ve suggested that manufacturers should use the LH351D instead of the XP-L in lights a number of times, but low-CRI and 6500K like Acebeam is using is not what I had in mind.

Though I did hear a certain dealer should have a batch with the 4000K SST-20 in a couple weeks.

Edit: I just noticed it has the UI from the L30 and friends. I love that UI.

Yeah, I love the UI. I really just wish they had a light with that 2 switch UI in a shorter version… like 10cm with a 18350. Or swappable mid-segments like the FW3A.

I just noticed, it’s also a powerbank. That’s it. I need one (the special edition with SST-20, of course).

Thanks Acebeam, 1 lumen or less moonlight. I must get this one…

So power indicator light is green until 11? I think it’s useless, it’s too low, it should be blue o orange from 50 to 11. Otherwise you can have the cell at 15% and the light will be green like with a fully charged cell

This…. this is something I could get behind, but not with a 6500K LH351D. As per zak’s post; hit us up with a good tint bin SST20 4000K, and then we’ll talk.

It will provide 2 amps to charge your phone. The flashlight seems to charge the 18650 battery at a max of 1 amp. You can have the light on any mode but turbo and it will still charge your device while on.

Can you post a picture of the flap? I seriously avoid buying lights with rubber flaps, for this I might make an exception.

@ Mark M

What is the name of that electronic device that measures? I may need that.

Thanks,
