Earlier today I purchased three flashlights, some 18650 and 21700 batteries on Sofirnlight dot com. One of the torches I bought is a C8F LH351D 5000K 90CRI, It was an amazing deal, all those items for $90.
But now I see the post above regarding the C8F only being available in SST20 4000K. I don’t want it in SST20 4000K.

Why does the prototype of the LT1 cost more than the black production LT1?
I really like the gold color, maybe it could be a bit less brown. If the BLF LT1 will come in this color I will buy one.

I tried buying 10 LH351D’s earlier, it knocked me down to 5. They must’ve found more stock!

I am trying to buy my group buy LT1s from Amazon but it won’t let me add more than 1 to my cart. I was on the group buy list for 8 but I have only received 1 so far. I would line to place my order for the other 7 (2 with batteries and 5 without).

I bought some Sofirn 26650 batteries from the Sofirn Store. The description said 5000 mAh, but both of the pictures showed 55000 mAh.
I figured it was an old description that got overlooked, or a typo. I ASSUMED that the pictures were unquestionable solid proof of what you will get. Wrong, I received 5000 mAh batteries.
Confusing, so I emailed Sofirn a couple of days ago. Still waiting for a reply.
Sofirn posted a comment here somewhere recently saying they could no longer get the 5500mAH cells. Shockli also posted that the OEM who made the 5500mAH cells has stopped production. I ordered a few of the Vapcell 5500mAH from Illumn before they sold out.
I did not see the posts about it. I wouldn’t have ordered the Sofirn 26650’s had I known that. Wish they would have pulled the pictures of the 55000 mAh units when they knew they could no longer get them.
I was mistaken. The info from Sofirn was not a post on BLF. It was on Sofirnlight.com.
“I was told BLFers really like PLB 26650 cells, so I got some 5000mAh 26650 flat top cells. Sadly 5500mAh cells are discontinued.”

I’m not trying to justify the mistake Sofirn made by showing incorrect info when you ordered, I just wanted to let anyone reading this thread know that the 5500mAH cells are no longer being manufactured.
