How do you carry your EDC light?

I usually carry this much everyday. lol

2 spare batteries (10440 & 14500) in plastic case and in my pocket.

DQG III R5 attached to my Keychain

iTP A3 EOS upgraded clipped to my small jean pocket

Xeno Xml in my jacket pocket

DRY in my backpack

am i ready for zombie apocalypse..?

I think i said in another thread, I just keep one in my car and I am never far from my car.

My wallet and keys and phone is already more than enough to carry around.

I always keep my EDC lights in my front right pocket. I recently got a tank007 e09 which now resides on my keyring as a backup...

Most all the time, yup. When it’s chilly you will likely find an L2T or something larger in a jacket pocket too. I’m a network guy and we believe in redundancy. I’ve already reached for a light only to find the battery mysteriously drained or not working so it’s good to have a backup.

As for sales opportunities, I can't recall ever taking out my micromag to sell it. Just for wowing my friends and family. It just feels good knowing it's there most of the time and when I do need more light than the S1 or SC60 can provide I am able to whip it out and light up the whole back yard.

Work belt carry EDC with Leatherman. I dont EDC all the lights, just pick one depending on my mood. Quark AA tactical, CCI NDI clone, AkoRay K109, Fenix L1T. ITP AAA and swiss-tech utilikey serve backup.

Shown buttoned up with AkoRay. the phone and keys either go in my pocket or backpack.

Weekend EDC pick one of the fore-mentioned lights, along side a Spyderco dragonfly. Belt carry it all in a camera belt pouch. I usually go with the L1T or AkoRay because they have the least aggressive knurl so they won't scratch up my phone. Of course ITP and UtiliKey on standby for backup.

Call me insane but I carry my DRY on my belt. :) This way when asked what is on my belt I can shine it on the ground in bright sunlight and you still see it.

I keep my Illuminati Al on my keychain, always have my keys so that way I also always have my light.

Well I voted the keychain option, since that's really my only true EDC. During winter months I carry a backup - usually single AA size - in a jacket pocket. Tbh, personally I find pocket clips almost invariably too stiff or too flimsy.

DQG II AAA NW @ keychain... Never ever without a flashlight! Still waiting for my both new toys - DQG III AAA NW and CW.

When bicycling at night - I use to wear my Zebralight H51 at head and take XM-L Solarforce L2 at handlebar holder.

Not exactly EDC but I usually have my maxpedition bag nearby and that normally has a solarforce and a C8 in it. Sometimes carry an ITP in pocket.

The DQG II and Spyderco Bug are always on a length of beaded chain, around my neck.

I carry my ITP A3 EOS around my neck on paracord at all times.

I also carry either my MXDL\XML in my pocket

or my Hugsby P31 clipped to my pocket.

I carry a Quark AA "X" 14500 in my right pocket with a deep clip. Right next to a Benchmade Mini Griptillian and some kind of sturdy SS pen. Yeah, they rub against each other. give's em character, no shelf queens here! Phone deeper in the pocket, doesnt really rub against them. Keys in the left pocket - cant clip anything to the left pocket or the keys catch it.

For days when something smaller is required, a modded EoStream 10440 (my old EDC) replaces the quark. I still like the EoStream better for holding my mouth hands free, but the quark is not terribly uncomfortable.

I've thought about adding a DQG III to the keychain, but that would strictly be as a backup light, not a primary EDC. Can't hold it hands free in my mouth when its on a keychain. Likewise I've never been a huge fan of anything hanging around my neck. So pocket carry for me!

I use clip for attaching DQG to keychain. Clip it off if I need spare flashlight less than second passed.

Inside a cargo pocket, one on either side.

Rusty Joy, there is something that I've never quite understood that you may be able to help with. I can't for the life of me figure out how anybody can put anything with any substantial mass in their cargo pockets and go about their day. Anytime I've ever tried it, especially if I have to move with any speed, the objects create a pendulum effect. Very annoying I find. Have you experienced this? If so, doesn't it bother you?

I own plenty of cargos, but can't bring myself to to wear them more than just occasionally, despite wanting to to want their extra capacity. I'd be interested in any other's opinions too.

CQG/BLF-S1 keychain and a second AA /cr123light in my left hand pocket depending on my mood .

My work pants all have cargo pockets and I never put anything in there. I find it very annoying. Maybe I could get used to it if I tried it but I will never know.

Side pockets on pants/shorts are quite annoying in this regard(?), I try to carry only lightweight items in them that wont bounce and wont fall out easily when walking/running/crawling/whatever :D.

I carry my lights either in my jackets side pockets or in my pants front pocket, if its pants or shorts then I attach my light using clip.

So, I see I'm not the only one who thinks cargo pockets lack the utility they purport to have. I would love to jam a bunch or stuff in there, but as soon as you go active, they fall short.
