How to Post Images on BLF

test

Your missing the file extension .jpg, you also want to shrink the size.

.

Just adding ‘s’, ‘m’, or ‘l’ to the end of the file name (before extension) on imgur will shrink it accordingly.

For example:

https://imgur.com/a18vBA7s.jpg
https://imgur.com/a18vBA7m.jpg
https://imgur.com/a18vBA7l.jpg

Okay, that seems to be an Imgur only thing. The S and M really hurts image quality. Neat, though.

Imgur is totally f****d. Android app nfg, website says page not found when I tap on it. Got so pissed I sent'em a not nice email.

Finally wanna start selling some lights.. what is a hosting site that actually works?

Oh, yeah, and greedy photobucker should be nuclear struck.

postimage.org

It works for me!
Maybe if you clean the cookies it works!
Imgur

Sometimes it happens to me and it is just my session that has expired.
About the app, I don’t know, I just use it on the computer!

+1

No issues with imgur on my end, at least on a PC.

Issue is on your end, works for everyone else…

I don’t find Imgur particularly user friendly though…
But it works.

I like abload.de, but the site is in German.

How to post a spreadsheet on the BLF forum?

Figured I start by asking here.

In the advanced editor there is the table function.
Tried pasting into that a couple of ways and it was a fail.

I would like to insert a spreadsheet from Excel or Calc.

I know I can do a jpg screen capture, but I’d like to have something that can be edited as more data becomes available.
Or copied by others to paste into other threads or formats.

Is such a thing possible?
Thanks,
All the Best,
Jeff

I do not believe that it is possible to post an actual spreadsheet. But I think you can place the spreadsheet on something like Google Drive, OneDrive, etc. and then post a link to it.

Hopefully, someone else will chime in.

As far as I know, this is correct.

EDIT:

I PM'd Mr. Admin as he probably knows for sure.

Right, it’s not possible to post a live spreadsheet, just tables. A Google or Microsoft online spreadsheet with public sharing permissions might be a good option.

Thanks for the reply’s
It’s as I suspected.
All the Best,
Jeff

Thanks for the tutorial.
let me try …

Hmmm, I tried a bunch of tricks, but could not get your image to post. Best I could do was post a link.

Imgur

Normally an image link would end in the file name and image extension such as .jpg or .gif etc…

I can’t find any type of image link like that on the Flickr website.

Here is an example of what a typical image link would look like.

https://i.imgur.com/ssDe7TB.jpg

It’s got the website address and it ends with the image file name and the file extension.

You might try the Flickr app and see if it will give you a different image link. I don’t use Flickr but I do use Imgur and I notice that the phone app gives better links then the website does.

It’s this one:

You need to find the link in the webpage’s source code. Not so easy sometimes.
