.5 was best for gentle charging quality 18650
1.0 was for 18650 that you don’t care about as much.
The specs on my protected EVVA 3500 rechargeable 18650 says standard charge rate is 1000mA which is 1.0 amps.
I am not sure if that means the recommended charge rate, or maximum rate. Or what rate is better for a new cell. Couldn’t find anywhere if they are ready to use right out of the charger either.
Any charge rate that doesn’t heat the cell is a gentle charge for li-ion. I haven’t noticed any heating of my Samsung 30Q charging at 1 amp. Do you notice any heating of your EVVA at 1 amp? That’s like 0.28C, so that sounds gentle to me. Do you have a link to what you read?
Hi, below are additions since last update and the BLF INTEREST LIST file linked to in post #1 have been updated too.
The interest list count now stands at 547 chargers.
Hello rost333 , you’re doing a great job, Thank you.
I suggest you check out two posts, I think they asked for two and on the interest list they’re only listed for one. Post #1227: sac02 , Please add me to the list for two units, please. Post #1242: awoody001 , Interested in 2 please .
I realize this is just way too late, perhaps, and I think this UI was mentioned once in this thread, but what is everyone’s thought on having the ISDT C4 UI? To me, it’s about nirvana. Sure it may / will add to the cost, but combine the near-perfect hardware specs and this so easy to use and functional UI, I think it’s a total game changer.
This is indeed great news. It could/should be easy enough for them given some knowhow and economies of scale in development and manufacturing to implement this.
How far along in the development at this time?
Oh, note 2- please, please be sure the sliding rails are ’good”. No perfection may be a unicorn not worth chasing, but let’s face it, how may chargers have we all tossed because of broken rails?
Last- I checked the charger interest list and don’t see my name. Yes I only expressed interest late last week, but can I get on that list for 1, possibly 2?
