Hope these are available at end of the month when I get paid. Amazing looking wee light!

Thanks to SKV89 for running the # s on this unit !

181 seems quite low compared to the 300 max Rey mentioned

yes thats very low, it should go over 300 easy… ?

180lm with 10440???
What the...

Yea I thought it was too low too so I recharged the battery and tested it with another vapcell 10440 but same result.

could the vapcell be a bad battery? do u have another light that runs with that battery to rule out?

What mode is it programmed to? One of the modes maxes out at 50%

good point that would explain 180 lumens… so double u have 360 then if thats the case…

guess I’m too late for using the code, just tried it and doesn’t work.

It just came into my possession. That was fast! :+1:

Question: Why isn’t this LED no longer in production? Or is it? And why isn’t or wasn’t it used more often? The color is a dream, even more than the Yuji 3200K among 5mm LEDs.

I like this light very much, even if it’s not as bright as expected. Surely nowhere near 300 lm.

ReyLight can we get some clarification on the so called 300 lumens when using 10440 when users claim its no way near that?

I wouldn’t expect a response for a while since it’s a holiday in China for several more days. Really only one sample has been measured which could just be a dud.

Second post is 3rd above...

I used the word measured on purpose.

Visual estimation of lumen output is about as accurate as “seat of the pants” horsepower. IMHO

I’m not saying it doesn’t appear dimmer to the user who said so, just that it is not a measurement and human vision is tricky.

There very well could be a design issue also. I’m just saying it a bit early to jump to conclusions.

Coaster is right, my estimation might be wrong. I can only compare with lights that have a different beam and color, unfortunately. There’s not so much difference between 180 and 300 lm that everyone would see it immediately without direct comparison. And maybe I am influenced by the reported measurement.

Quick measurement in bathroom:

D4V2 SST-20@3000K, 100 lm equal 6 lx

Olight S1R II 1000 lm equal 69 lx

Pineapple maximum = 10 lx, equals between 145 and 167 lm with the above standards.

all measurements done with Benetech GM1020.

Edit: I still might be completely wrong!

I kept it default, so whatever mode it came from the factory as.

Got mine as well today, nice surprise for it to arrive so quickly. Thanks Reylight!
