Is there a non-destructive way to do an emitter swap in this light? I haven’t found any info about mod friendliness of this model.
Honestly I have no idea, never thought about swapping the emitter. It’s just a light I bought and never use, it just sits in a drawer.
I saw that both the D3A and D3C are offered with 6 choices of emitters on the illuminationgear website.Maybe ask there about ease of access

no
the AA models are not mod friendly because:
they have no removable bezel
and
the pill is press fit up against the glass
it does not unscrew either
