Nichia E17A/E21A Skilhunt H04RC Group Buy

UI two is more zebralight like right?

I’m going to order a second HO4 but I can’t decide on the tint. Part of me wants to try something whacky like 2000K, 3000K, 4000K, and 5000K and then part of me wants to do 3000K + 4000K since I know that’s gorgeous.

The 2000K + 6500K looks pretty cool too. Maybe 2000K + 5700K?

Man, this is tough!

Is shipping tracked?

For those curious how stock H04 XML2 neutral white would look next to e21A (no mix).

SX5 (E21A quad 4000K) vs H04 (XML2 neutral white) vs AT Elf C1 (e21A quad 5000K). WB ~5000K. All with beaded tir.

Measurements of H03 with 4*e21 220 4000k at 1100mA 6v config.

Original driver a litle bit poverfull and current bin is higher. Thus it should be about 700lm

Looking forward to such a nice light (comment line 50)
Thanks,

Thank you Olles

Yes

Depends on your needs. For all in one general applications where true colors matters, 5000K is best. For color critical, 5700K is the best. For applications when there’s the need to check which white is white, 6500K works best. CW has the most balanced color spectrum although things don’t look as pretty and appealing as under WW.

Price should be the same, but shipping won’t be free anymore

I tested quadtrix E17A and it’s only a tad wider than the OEM XML2 which is too narrow for my liking for a general purpose headlamp. Runners would love it.

Guys, please DOUBLE CHECK your orders! There were some anonymous comments added on other’s column. I tried my best to adjust the listing

Thank you,

Countdown is on! Tempted to get more than 1

I have never been this excited about a headlamp in my life! I bought 2 H04s and 4 other quadrix mcpcbs with different E21a configurations.

I have homes for 3 of my 4 boards - H03, H04 and a Rofis R1 that are sitting in my collection not being used due to ugly emitters.

If I was going to put one of my quadrix boards in a Convoy S3, what driver should I use?

Hi Clemence, paid the rest for my added module. Thanks again!

Looks good to me. :+1:

Comments added and paid!

(Should be 4500K E21A plus two additional E21A modules in 3500K and 5000K)

Comments added (added a 2nd light for Calzoner), and paid.

Thank you again for putting this together.

Woohoo! Can’t wait!

I saw two 4000k in the list. Just want to offer some info for your consideration. I’ve seen both the Tiara Pro with the 4000K D220 an 4000K D240. As a person who prefers negative DUV (rosy) tint, I was very disappointed when I turned on the D240. The tint is about spot on the BBL so to me was a bit too yellow/green especially when compared side by side with the 4000K D220. It did measure brighter in my lumen tube (don’t have the numbers because its my friend’s light). He also wasn’t too impressed with the tint because we’ve seen nicer rosier tint. For this reason I’m mixing the 4500K with 3500K to achieve a 4000K that should result in a similar DUV as the D220 version of the 4000K, which left me in awe the first time I saw it. Also I noticed that mixing CCT seemed to raise the Rg value resulting in more saturated colors. For me, I like the saturated cartoonish color, but some people might think its less realistic. Just food for thought….

SKV89; What do you think of the 3000k + 4500k combination?

I like the higher CRI of the 3000k but considered change to 3500k + 4500k for a bit whiter light. Your experience & recommendation above tips me toward the 3500k + 4500k. TIA
