Driver works at 4A (max) and I can’t see flickering PWM.
It has temperature protection like new Convoy Drivers.

Great light! This seems to be the “natural” evolution of their VG10!

From what i understand:
Operation:
Configuration mode:
- 5x quick half press when light is in ON state.
- Flashlight will flash 1x > 2x > 3x > 4x > 5x time sequence. Number of flashes correspond to the group number.
- Turn OFF the light to select your preferred group. ( example: to select group #2, turn OFF light when XT35 flashes twice.
5 groups:
- 2000lm
- 2000lm - 10lm (default)
- 2000lm - 400lm
- 2000lm - 1200lm -10lm
- 2000lm - 12000lm - 400lm -10lm
Double-click to enter Strobe in any modes.

Not working, I can’t change between different group modes. And can’t enter to strobe.
My XT35 is not like your photo. It hasn’t written XT35 anywhere, only B35 on head

Strange. Are you able to switch between different light level? Do you recognize any of the stated grouping?

- 10lm-100lm-400lm-1200lm-2000lm
Maybe 2000 - 400. Not 2000-10 of default mode. I’m sure about this. Strobe mode still inaccessible

Do you have a soldering iron? I just realized that there are two type of driver for this light on AMUTORCH TaoBao.
The list that i have posted is for Daily Mode firmware. Very high chance that your version is Tactical Mode version, which requires you to manually select the group by bridging the pads shown in pic. Are you able to check yours?
If remove the bridge there’s only the high mode.
With the pads bridged, it have group mode of 2000 and 400 lumens, again.
there is some solder in the red area. Can it have something to do with it?
Seems correct, no bridge equal to group #1, single mode at 2000lm.
You tried soldering the grouping that you want? Or you mean you can only get 2000-400, despite bridging a different pad?
When soldering pads number 5, now I have access to this group of modes.(Hurray!) . But flashlight still without strobe mode

The ability to hard code the mode selection with solder and no strobe mode makes this light much more interesting to me. Too bad it’s already sold out 
Freeme, any chance we can reboot this deal? Or the new XT40 TIR version? Price target under 40usd, preferably 35!
I see these on TaoBao for around 200-250 yuan, which is an affordable price. Amutorch is charging waaayyy too much for their lights recently through other outlets.
