Tacklife LFL3A $8.99

I just ordered one. Seems like an awesome price because you get a 5000 mAh 26650 battery, a charging cord, a nice packaging box to store it in or to give as a gift. PLUS! it will be delivered in two days.

If it turns out to be all that, and a bag of chips, I will buy a couple more.

I’m buying with intention of emitter swapping. I have a 18650 adapter from My ft03 I’m going to see if it fits

Thank you man…i just ordered one.

Do share more details, I too have a dead ft03 led and parts that I can use.

I am pretty sure this is limited stock dumping. Price is too low, seller is probably just clearing inventory. I’ve seen lights that are too good for the price but disappear shortly. I’ve bought another just now

Got mine an hour ago, let it come to room temp as it is cold today.
Anyway battery is dead, shows .3 volts and none of my chargers will attempt to start it nor will the internal charging on the LFL3A.
Being that it shows some voltage this means there is no protection that may have tripped?

Flashlight is dang nice and has a perfectly centered corona, as others have said nice build quality.
Hope they don’t make me send the whole thing back but whatever.
Was as curious of the quality of the battery as the flashlight.

And so it goes.
Later,
Keith

Bought two. I’ll probably swap an SST-20 in at least one when i receive them. Here’s the pricing history.

Thanks

What are the modes and UI design like?

Man, I’m a sucker for a flashlight deal. Here comes another one.

A thrower that always starts in high, with blinky modes well hidden, includes a free 26650 battery, has built-in charging, and looks easy to mod for 10 bucks?
I didn’t have think much before I placed my order.

How’s the UI work. The Amazon review said you have to cycle through the modes to get to off?

Cut the wrap off the battery and pulled the protection board away from neg contact and waalaa 3.54 volts.
So cut off bottom board and trimmed off excess connector strip and have started to charge it but have to pause as I am going out for the evening.
Leaving the original wrap as is, just need to seal up the edge of the strip at bottom with electrical or Kapton tape.

The name on it is as follows;

sinowatt
INR 26650E-5000mah
2017 .08.03

The amazon reviews are mostly for a different model light that has a zoom head, not the light that is now being sold. Watch the video posted in this thread- it shows the UI.
It does look like you have to cycle through med and low to get to off, but at least you don’t have to go through strobe.

Thanks. Was afraid of that. Gifter.

I just got another one. Charging it now. Got two coming tomorrow for my two nephews. And one more coming for me. I want the included battery for something.

I checked on the Tacklife website, and the lfl3a is not even listed. In fact, there are no flashlights listed, that I could find anyways.

Even though a Google search brought up a result for it, I click the link and it only shows Taclifes other products.

Seems like a failed product launch. It is a decent light but at soso price point originally, terrible marketing, since no one heard of it till now. If it is being sold for >$30, it had too much competition.

I gotta confess, I wasn’t interested with just vague “Wow, great light!”s flying around, but seeing the details, I’m sold. Just ordered a couple…

Looks like a nice clean beam (aside from the outer ring), especially the hotspot.

I can’t believe it. I ordered one without any clear idea of what I need it for. I must be an addict and need to find a support group to suppress these buying urges.

Then again this isn’t the first time I’ve done this

My light that came today had a little tiny amount of powder on the nipple of the battery. I was able to simply blow it off. There seems to be a tiny minuscule amount of hardened gunk just under the black wrap near that vented nipple. Does that seem okay? My other batteries don’t have that. Just this one and only a tiny little amount. But the battery took a charge and seems to be holding a charge fine.
