Collecting interest for a Sofirn C01 host version

I have no knowledge that Sofirn is going to do a 2300K version.

Added you to the list.

Me too please.

In case that new C01 batch happens, I am not sure if I will keep my interest in the hosts, as I prefere the lights potted and not having to order the LEDs separately. However, as that is not a reality yet, I will keep my interest in the hosts for now!

I’m interested in 2
Thanks

Please count me in for at least 2 complete lights. But I’d also purchase hosts if that’s all we get.

one C01 is interesting

Interested in 2 hosts, cheers!

Put me down for one full light too,
please.

Interested in two complete lights
Thank you

Interested in 3, thank you!

I’d buy several hosts if they became available. Looking for regulated 5mm led host or swapping candidates.

Does chiming in here add me to a notice list or do I need to keep checking?
Thx

I did maintain a list until a couple of months ago. But it now seems that the host version will only happen as coupled to a new batch complete C01 lights. So if the complete light happens, the host becomes available too. This makes the list in the OP a bit redundant.

Ah, makes sense, thank you. I’m interested in finding any host not just the sofirn c01 that is a regulated driver for 5mm rgwrn or yuji leds. Prefer with a couple/few brightness modes. Is there a thread for that? It seems like most candidates I can still find are direct drive off of 2 or 3 aaa batts. Annoying because I’d use for reading or extended tasks and the dimming is irritating…

Feedback and any further feedback appreciated. Thx!

I expressed my interest above.
I”d add — I’d like to see the host available in anything other than black — by choice, yellow or orange anodizing.

At least color the head if not the battery tube, some way to make the light recognizable among all the other Sofirn AAA lights in my drawer!

Is it possible if the driver can be configured to high power setting (i.e. 100mA instead of 25mA)?

Since I now have a stronger emitter to benefit from higher drive current.

I know that during development, the driver was “set” at 25mA, and I assume that is a resistor value somewhere. So I would not be surprised if, within limits, you can tune the driver.

I’m in for one!

I’m interested in four C01 hosts if they’re $6.50 each and black only.

If there was a non-anodised option or another colour available I would get a couple more.

50 black hosts, please.

For real? lol.
