Shipping back to normal in China?

Not for me been waiting over a month for batteries from aliexpress.

Batteries take forever !!!

2 of my aliexpress parcels reach today and yesterday after that coronavirus extended lunar new year extensions.

one pack is my Samsung 30q 3pcs
the other pack is a 180 degree wide angle reverse camera that doesn’t work for me. (the image was for front dashcam and not mirrored rear)

The shipping is back to normal about one week ago for us.

Just got message from an AE store.

Many thanks to Hank. Yesterday I made an order for d4v2 ti, today I already received a tracking number! Great job!

.
Then why are my orders not shipped ?
Things are no way back to normal. :smiling_imp:

I cannot get a response from kaidomain.com on orders i made with tracking back in January, and they are in stock. Still processing, not shipped.
:weary:

That is discouraging.

I believe The gentleman who is fixing my HT70 is also waiting for parts[SST-70 and other stuff] from Kaidomain. I think he ordered around February 1st or 2nd.

Hopefully they send your order, his and others soon!

Same here. Orders from KD in early January marked Processed but still not shipped.

a BangGood order made on the 11th hit the US yesterday and will be here Saturday

.
That is good news, Thanks ” shhh ” :+1:
.
Maybe I can order from Banggood and end the parts drought
.

Order placed on 1/19 got notice it shipped on 2/25.

I made several orders since the CNY started. Some of them were shipped, some even arrived already.
But some have been waiting for shipment for a long time. Aliexpress has extended the shipping deadlines at least twice already but it seems they won’t be doing it again - and I have 4 packages waiting for shipment with deadline of about 48 hours.

I wonder if it makes sense to voluntarily extend the deadline or should I just consider the items as lost?

There is no tracking for these items yet.

On Ali the process since you paid goes like this:

  1. Payment verification by Aliexpress (takes any amount of time, usually just seconds but I’ve seen over a day)
  2. Waiting for shipment (seller has IIRC 2 weeks to ship the item)
  3. In transit, the time limit depends on the shipping method. Whatever you see as delivery time is just this, the previous steps actually extend your wait.

Actually 3) can be split into
3a) seller provides the tracking number
3b) seller actually ships the item

If deadline at 2) is not met the order is cancelled automatically.
If deadline at 3) is not met, Ali says “confirmation received” but you can file a dispute to claim that the item is not in your hands.

In my case I have a few orders where Ali extended the deadline at 2). At least twice. But the extended deadline is about to end and if nothing happens by then - will be cancelled, returning me the money.
But I don’t want the money, I want the items. And if there’s a reasonable chance that the lack of shipment is just a delay and extending the deadline would give me the stuff - I’d gladly do it. But if it will just delay returning money (and delay my re-purchases from other sellers) I’d rather not.

One item arrived today.

My Kaidomain order shipped today.

my order from BG made two days ago was shipped after a few hours

I received the cable today.

Although AliExpress said it was coming from China, it actually came from Kyrgyzstan.

If it actually were from China, it may have been held up due to coronavirus, so it looks like I lucked out.
