I sadly cant recall the specs but i showed the names in specs my dang mind is so conffued since my thyroid starting with its issues doc upgraded tge meds to 88 mg .but no luck and now im afraid to go to dr
Sorry for your health troubles. If you think the upgraded meds made things worse, don’t think the Doctor is bad, just go back and explain. It’s called practicing medicine for a reason, sometimes they need to just try things to see if it makes you better or worse.
Telephone and see if the doctor’s office can help without a personal visit. The facility I use has video visits available for many things as well as a nurse line for assistance with things that don’t actually require a face-to-face visit.
Im just afraid of going to dr becuase of corona… ps then someone i trust to me some thyroid meds use radation. To me the cure is worse then the problem
Yeah, taking meds at the prescribed times can be an issue. I use pill strips; a series of 7 little compartments, one for each day of the week. Fill it and start on a Sunday. Leave it in a place you use often; by the toothbrush, whatever. Mine are in the kitchen by my coffee. It can take a while to get into a regimen but it can be done. Another nice thing about the strips is that if you forget to take a dose it is obvious because that pill is still there. I have friends who have AM afternnon and evening strips for the different pill schedules.
I checked my amazon shiping history it says the tk 16 is 1300 lumens i recall when i choose it i wanted max throw. So that makes me think its 1800 lumen. But im not sure. Im just trying to add 30 bucks to my bank just incase i forgot a bill
A quick Google search says radioactive iodine can be prescribed to correct hyperthyroidism. If that’s you, while that might sound scary, it would also mean the medication is temporary and you will be medication free and cured before long. Of course I don’t know what your condition is or what meds you are really on, I’m just Googling stuff.
Ah, well Google says Levothroxin is simply a replacement for the hormone your thyroid doesn’t make enough of. So there’s no radiation in that. It’s simply the stuff that is supposed to be produced by your body, but in pill form. That sounds safe to me, though forgetting or doubling a dose could make you feel pretty weird I imagine.
Thats very kind but it dont seem fair for you .and should of been clear i was hopeing 30 bucks for the tk16 .id take 30 bucks plus shiping for any single light
And it takes your body a long time to readjust when the dosage of Levothyroxin is changed, there’s an up and down swing to get through.
So you really, really, seriously should phone your doctor’s office and report what’s going on. Most doctor’s offices are being quite smart about NOT calling people to come in needlessly. Your doctor can order a retest for your thyroid level without seeing you, if what you report makes sense.
Don’t play games with your health. Take the prescription as specified —- on an empty stomach, remember? With plenty of water.
Its kind of ironic the issue is im confused and forgetful but I need to recall to take the meds lol. But im sure going to try ty for all the advice everyone do you think there will be places to buy my meds in all this corona mess?
I wouldn’t worry. Pharmacies are considered necessary and will carry on. Plus it’s not like it’s possible for prescription medication to get sold out to one greedy person.
Cool whats even weirder like 2 years ago my father came close to dieing becuase his thyroid. But his was overative if i recall. I dont know if it is spread thru genes
