Some how mine fell off and got lost. I never measured it. Can someone recommend a replacement.

These rubber tailcaps are a bit “wobbly” so the sizes I just measured are vague at best.
Despite the almost similar size, the fugly green tailcap of the Yootoo is even more wobbly.
Not surprised you lost it, given the fact that the rim of the (my) green tailcap is not concentric.

Yootoo SD2 tailcap.

diam. hole = 14mm
diam. rim = 16.5mm
height above rim = 6mm
height with rim = 7mm
stub inside = NO

“regular” 14mm tailcap

diam. hole = 14mm
diam. rim = 17.5mm
height above rim = 7.5mm
height with rim = 8.5mm
stub inside = YES

I bought the regular tailcaps ages ago, from a store that has been in limbo for years now.
But they are the same size as the tailcaps from:
BLF EE X6, BLF Kronos X5 and X6, Thorfire VG10, Thorfire TG06S
Of course you have to cut a bit off from the stub.

One of these should suit you. I just bought the transparent blue GITD ones. Hoping I made the right choice. I’m picky about cheap looking switch caps. The stock green didn’t do it for me. Unfortunately, a standard BLACK option isn’t anywhere to be found in my searches. 8mm tall caps make tailstanding wobbly or not possible in some cases.

Moment of uncertainty: my second SD2 just arrived.

I could not help but noticing that the front part and the tube were the same, but the tailswitch combo’s were not. IN fact, a quick de-assembly revealed that only the switch on its PCB is the same, but ALL other parts are different.

My second SD2 has a tailcombo that looks like the tailcombo of the SD1 in THIS thread.

My original tailcombo is a bit longer and has small longitudinal grooves as knurling.

@bikenber73, what does your tailcombo look like.
If you want to, PM me your address and I’ll send you the correct green tailcap cover.
For I’m swapping the standard switch for a lighted one (I’m quite OCD on that subject)

And a few spare led tail switches

since you are already speaking of the SD2… does any of yoy know the pcb and driver diameter? im planning to buy one for a project and use only the host .
