【XTAR Team】Your Question We Are Here to Help

Why do you want to do that?

Generally speaking, yes you can. But the virus will not survive on the surface of the package for too long.

Yes, we are processing that. USB-C is being used in many devices, we need to catch it up

I’m not sure under what environment you did the test, but the temperature and remaining battery of the phone will affect the charging speed.

Maybe you can turn the low battery mode on and test it again.

LOL, tell me why do you like this torch so much?

How does the WK42 works now?

I will let them know that you guys like the WK42 and D35, see if we could bring them back!

Any explanation yet for the Xtar VC8 which, based on HKJ’s test, sometimes will not charge NiMh batteries to full (only charges partially then stops).

Also, the Xtar VC4S seems to do the same thing when using the “Grading” (capacity test) mode — for Li-Ion batteries, it will ” Charge (FULL) - Discharge - Charge (Full)“, but for NiMh batteries it will ”Charge (FULL) - Discharge - Charge (partial charge only)“. See review done by HKJ.

So after a “grading” test mode for NiMh batteries on the VC4S and VC8, the battery will only get partially charged after the testing is done.

what is the cut off voltage of vc8 for discharging li ion in grad. mode, i could not find it in the owners manual, thanks

Have any WK35’s still hanging around that need a good home?

I’ll buy them!!!

I own both the vc8 and vc4s and have the same faults charging nimh batteries. Have contacted Xtar for assistance but no reply unfortunately.

i have same issue with other chargers as well, however not with all cells, eneloops charge fine, tenergy will not charge fully, same thing with Duracell’s nimh, i have hitek x4 hobby charger, i tried different currents , but no difference, whether i charge single cell, or a pack in series, i have another no name 8 bay charger, same story, enelopps charge fine, others do not, when i got Duracell AAs they came with cheap; 4 bay wall charger , i was gonna throw it away, since i had “better” chargers, good thing i did not

For all my nimhs this charger has been consistently good at charging without fault.

For some reason out of the blue, my new vc4s died. I just used it a month ago and it was fine. Just got it out a few days ago to refresh some nimh batteries, and it just shuts off and restarts over & over. Any ideas?

Based on HKJ’s review
https://lygte-info.dk/review/Review%20Charger%20Xtar%20VC8%20UK.html

Discharge current is –300mA and cut-off voltage for li-ion is “around 2.6v”

thank you very much.

@xtarflashlight I can not find RC2 200 on sale at Banggood.com or Aliexpress.com. Please let me know where can I purchase it? Thank you.

I was wondering if there is a source for your Allmaybe EU2 wall charger. It looks they are not available to me here in the USA any longer. Given the wide range of quality in wall chargers, I always look first for an Xtar or in this case Allmaybe, option. Thanks for your help.

Not exactly of help…

Strangely enough, both the above items (RC2-200 and Xtar EU2 (2x QC3.0) / AllMay EU2-ST (2x USB5v/2A) are listed normally (and available) in Xtar’s store in a local online store platform here in our country.

(usually, many items are harder to find in local online stores or cannot ship to our country, but in this case, both above products are listed available and can be shipped to my country…)

Hi @d_t_a, I have searched Banggood, Aliexpress and Shopee, but couldn’t find RC2-200 in stock. Please let me know your local shop website, let us see if they can send to my country.

Hi @amtaham, link of “”RC2-200”“:https://id.xiapibuy.com/product/101581325/7778112424/ on our Shopee store for your reference. The package is sent from our Chinese factory to Indonesia, usually, it takes 5-10 days.

Are there any options to purchase the EU2, PD45, or RC2-200 from / to the USA?
Thanks
