DinoDirect current opinions

Having just had a bad experience with a seller on Amazon (Novatac Storm) , i have found a Sunwayman on DinoDirect within my price range or should i say my wifes agreed price range , anyway i don't particularly mind within reason how long it takes to come as long as i get what i pay for .

What's the general / up to date opinion on buying from these boys

I got a Sunwayman V10A from them last year cheaper than anywhere else. I'm happy. I got it about a month after I ordered it.

Just started a chat with them they wanted the SKU code , they just said it's out of stock , so back to the drawing board , at least you had a good experience so if i see something i can buy it . thanks brted

Their prices fluctuate alot, sometimes many times per day, so make sure you order and dont miss the price your wife agreed on ;)!

They used to have much better coupon codes, new coupon codes are kind of meh, not so exciting anymore.

I received both of my lights within month after ordering them, both came nicely packaged, no parts missing, exactly what I ordered.

Would I recommend them? Probably yes, unless you find the same item even cheaper somewhere else ;)

A-V-O-I-D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ONEELEVEN

THEY ARE SCAMMERS - YOU JUST GIVE THEM ZERO INTEREST LOAN.

THEY ARE LIARS TOO.

sorry for caps lol

Blimey i take it your not recommending them?

Don't beat about the bush man, tell us how you really feel!

They abused me. I do not use/abuse them. Fair.

My opinion about DinoDirect:

I have placed about 30 orders with them.

All of them arrived except 3, which where refunded via paypal dispute/claim (they were lost in transit).

All the other orders, arrived perfectly. Never received anything different from the item I ordered. (maybe I have been lucky)

I have purchased several different items to them, from flashlights, batteries, memory cards, tools and computer accesories.

In my opinion, DinoDirect is the same as the other Chinese retailers such as DealExtreme, Kaidomain, etc.... except that, DinoDirect´s order processing time is much faster than DealExtreme today...

The MAIN PROBLEM from Dino, is that, they have raised the prices about 60% since December. Now is not very interesting to buy from them because of that, and also because they dont have interesting coupons to decrease the price.

I have to admit that they work better than DealExtreme in some aspects (specially on aspects related on product stock and order processing time), but all are the same dog with different collar.

My conclusion: you can buy from them, but if you find the same item for less money in other site, avoid them. (same applies to other retailers)

I'm pretty happy with DinoDirect.

I've made many orders with them. They usually ship quickly, and they corrected a couple of mistakes that they made. If they have a good price, I buy from them.

diNO! Diwrecked

Dino-Direct is like a bad, bad flu you can't get over.

I've had only 1 transaction that went what I consider well out of about 5. That tells me they suck 80% of the time. Then all you hear is we will try and improve. Save the speech.

Buy from somone else who will give you what you order the first time and not let you order and then tell you after you pay them say a day or 2 later that your item is not in stock.

I'd give them a F letter grade and that is sad. I'd go to an even lower letter grade if there was one.

try googling : dino direct scam

found this

or try the DD lottery. You might get lucky if not their CS will drive you insane.

What Dino-Direct needs is a good guy that knows how to clean up a ship in about 1 week. Let him toss the bad overboard and put up new sails. Tell them what you expect from them and to stay focused and on a straight honest course. If anyone wants to try and go against the new company policies and standards, you'll be tossed as well.

it's the manufacturer's fault (bad product or broken product). if Chine*e manufacturers design and produce cr*ppy products, i wont hold DD responsible for the cr*p. DD sells thousands of different products (much no-name stuff or budget items) and many people know that Made In China isnt comparable to quality stuff Made In Germany ;)

smaller sellers (e.g. 1-man show flashlight dealers in the U.S.) can decide for each product if they want to sell them or not. nobody wants to sell junk products.. the larger the store the higher the probability that there are cheesy products in the sales program

DD is innocent :)

and waiting ain't an option with DD.

Paypal dispute and refund is the only right way to deal with them.

As what comes to the quality I wonder what the point is with the Quality Controller sticker if its just put on everything without any thought.

They used to have some outstanding deals and, at least in my experience, better than average customer service. Their prices have always been all over the place. When they figured out that some people were gaming the system and in some cases even bragging on here about the gift cards they were getting, I guess, they started to focus on their bottom line and their prices haven't really been competitive since.

For me, that was the main appeal: there were some good (sometimes great) deals to be had and one of their reps posts on BLF. Personally, I don't really care about the sweepstakes, points and whatnot and I'd rather they stop wasting their time coming up with new ways to get people to buy stuff, when their old strategy (competitive prices on budget and name brand items, have a go-to person when things go wrong) was working just fine.

I can only speak for myself, obviously, but I used to spends hundreds of dollars at DD month after month last year but I haven't bought anything from them since they jacked up their prices.

I only order from them when the price is too good to pass up. My last order was on 4/20 for an iTP A2 EOS in stainless. It shipped on the next day and arrived this morning. It's gorgeous and I stole it for $19.39 shipped. Only 2 weeks from ordering to receiving it. I can't complain.
