E2D 100$ NET

I bought the G3 and 9P from him on the other site.
Would purchase from him again no problem. 
I WANT the E2D……on a condition……that it can take rechargeable and not fry out the board or somehow ruin the light beyond what the surefire warranty would cover. I’m rather new to this, but I know enough to get by, and I know that I lack the knowledge required to figure out output voltages, cut-off voltages, incandescent v. LED power draw in this model, etc., etc…. So, plain and simple, will I have to run those expensive, wasteful primaries, or has surefire finally accepted rechargeable as mainstream acceptable yet?

I dabble in the D36 style drop in’s also… I have a few M3Combat and Weapon Lights 2Sx18500’s and 2Sx18650’s running XHP50/70’s and 50.2 3V 70.2’s
My favorite is and always will be (for old Surefire Lights) the M3
