I waiting two orders (13/03/2020 and 29/03/2020), both SG registered shipping.
The one from 13/03/2020: 2020-03-26 Despatched to overseas (Country code: UY)
The one from 29/03/2020: 2020-04-04 Information Received – Item En Route to Postal Facility
I was going to say “pretty good R9 values” in the above table by SKV89, but after going to quote the post I see the 70+ figures are for R12. Now I see how it works, but it's weird to see that the table frame isn't shown or is set invisible. Maybe it is easier on the eyes to list the value identifiers, a colon, and then the corresponding value (R9: 22.7 R12: 72.6 Rf: 82…).
Received a package with a K6 flashlight host I was waiting for. Weighed 348.0g in my scale, which seems to be more or less well calibrated (also weighed a couple VTC5A cells multiple times and they ended up averaging 47.8916̅g).
Took some photos:
Beefy, tough host. Minus the knurlings tube wall thickness is ≈3.5mm, and it still hovers around 2mm at the back where the tailcap thread is (2.4 - 2.5mm thread included). Maybe it's not a tank, but it's armored.
Bezel diameter 62.6mm.
I was at first going to complain about the lens, but it looks that way because it comes with protective film either side…
The stock switch is a forward type one (17.9 × 12.9 × 13.5mm lenght × width × height). Will have to swap it.
All measurements taken with cheap Aneng caliper.
Host related question for BanL, is the S3 21700 using the same reflector size as the S2 21700 (also known as S21A)?
Of course I am in need to replace the stock forward switch in the K6 host (can't say it makes me happy, honestly).
I am dealing with a little doubt concerning the most compatible replacement for the stock switch. I could use the PBS101C400 I have around here, but I'd like to get a more direct replacement, and stock a few spares. I have nailed this down to the
I hear you djozz. The only issue is dealing with the current metal centering washer which sits atop the switch, as it is ∅10mm whereas the above emitters need ≈∅8mm. Will have to make or obtain some adapter.
I’ve just received an order of some 2mm^2 OSRAM KW CSLPM1.TG 5P-FCBB46-15 WHITE 5400K from KD which are my first experience with any of the osram FW led’s, be it stock in a light or stand-alone for modding so I have no other point of reference but they all seem really cold white, atleast 6000k minimum, probably cooler.
Is this to be expected and normal or should I suspect bad reflows making them blue shift cause of heat?
To clarify this is strictly a question, if it’s normal I’m not complaining at all as they do perform in the lights I’ve put them in so far but just wanted to be certain I’m not experiencing a problem if they should be warmer.
Without actual tint and color rendering tests of the current CSLNM1.TG batch from Kaidomain (or anywhere), it can be hard to precisely determine those parameters by the naked eye.
