Is banggood a legit business?

I came to know about Banggood through BLF forum. I bought around 4 flashlight, charger and batteries. I experienced some delay in shipment, item not available message after few days etc. But I never faced issue like missing item. Also my experience with customer service also good enough.
I did purchase from USA and also requested one delivery to India. Compared to US, India custom clearance is not easy. But banggood had experience it seems. They have clearly specified item details on the package itself, so that it got cleared in customs without any issue. So in my opinion, they are legit but shipment takes time. Anyhow my purchase history far low than others in the forum. I just want to share my experience.

I’ll say they are legit, most if not all my Imalent lights as well as my astrolux are from banggood and all arrived without issues including 2 variants of the MS18 one in ww and cw. Items that take to long or far past the estimated shipment day etc etc have been refunded without much issue without having to dispute.

All in all my experience with banggood have been positive.

Banggood is 3 out of 6 for successful orders for me, and 50% chance of getting what I ordered after 4-8 weeks is just not worth it to me. Not a fan at all.

Yes they are legit. I’ve made many dozens of orders from them. There has been several times where they don’t actually have the item in stock. They automatically refunded in a few months. Otherwise expect a month or more for shipping if you choose free shipping.

3. If the weight of the parcel is very different, you could record a video when you open the parcel.

NO REPLY…! I just sent another message… Went onto my BG account just now. They deleted the second shipped order so it looks as if I received the first light… This is f*cking unreal…! I’ve yet to contact PayPal never had too! I feel this may be my only option if they keep this BS up…

MY REPLY: This is very inconvenient and NO, I don’t understand nor do I believe you… how can’t you open this Video it’s on YOUTUBE…? How many times do I have to send the link, how many more times do we have to go back and forth here…?

This is absurd, I will be contacting PayPal and disputing this purchase if I don’t receive a refund soon… I have all the information needed to obtain proof that I’m getting the run around and paid for empty boxes…! This box and the other were shipped empty… The package weight alone confirms that… I hope this can be prevented and resolved ASAP…!

That really sucks, PayPal has shifted their customer service model to find the case in favor of the seller, in an attempt to garner more companies to use their platform. I have learned it is better to dispute the charge with your credit card company or financial institution.

I agree…! Along with all the emails I have gathered of this back and forth BS and screenshots of the replacement order sent and dates shipped, and then the order magically removed from there site; like their trying to make it look like I revived the first one and all was OK…! HA… PayPal better side with me… I spend LOTS of money through them and I’ll be damned if they side with these as*holes…!

A few years ago I had a problem (incomplete product) for which I decided not to buy from them any more.
Due to inexperience with them I let the Paypal term expire, the customer service thought I was an idiot, in every message I received excuses and lies.
The only way to get some of the money back was to post what happened to me on forums where they posted offers (mainly on Forolinternas).
From there it is “The Cave of Tricksters”.

Does anyone in the US have experience ordering from the BG USA warehouse? It says 2-8 days shipping…curious as to if that is somewhat accurate.

My thoughts are; yes Banggood is legit. But it is a chinese very low customer service company. It doesnt operate like our native U.S. companies do. I think of it like flea market, or yard sale rules. I recommend sofirn off amazon, or using usa warehouses stuff. I dont know about B.G. usa warehoused items. That would be interesting to find out about.

Okay, so you get a sealed envelope (almost impossible to open up one of those without making it very clear that it’s been opened), right on camera, open up an empty box, and you’re supposed to go to the local post-office for more info?

its obvious someone stole the light, it doesnt matter where really, u should get money back but its weird someone got through all trouble re-seal the package for some reason… usually packages dissapear… i hope u get money back. not sure what banggood wants… why would post office have anything to say? its not like the light is there behind the counter……

Almost certainly, the light was stolen from the box before packing. It’s nigh impossible to open-then-reseal those baggies without it being painfully obvious, and iirr the listed-on-the-envelope package-weight was quite low, reflecting the lack of any light inside the empty box. So it was sealed at BG with the empty box pretending to be the complete package.

TODAY June 2 2020 email below…. HOLY SHIT is this aggravating… BANGGOOD is simply playing STUPID here by beating around the bush… I’m done playing grab ass…! I’m filing a claim through Paypal after this post…! :rage:

For the record, SAVE THESE EMAILS.

Anyone with 2 working brain-cells to rub together will see the deliberate stall tactics and complete intentional lack of comprehension, trying to run out the clock or whatever.

Whether PP or your CC or whatever, they will then see the stall tactics and “play-dumb-’til-he-goes-away” attempts.

I did that once on AX, when I was shorted a few zip-up boxes, and the seller played dumb to the point I wanted to fly there to personally throttle the SOB. I practically drew a picture with crayons to show what I got vs what I didn’t get, and nothing was sinking in.

AX eventually credited me what I asked for in full. (Emphasis on “eventually”, because you’re “encouraged” to work it out with the seller first.)
