Lumintop FW21 Pro Floodlight photo comparisons: Mateminco MT07,, AT40 mule, FW3A...C8+, NI40, SP36.

Sofirn SP36 nw versus the FW21 Pro:

The SP36 does not do so bad against the 21 Pro… and it has USB. The 21 is almost half it’s size though.
Do you have a EC03 on order?

Yeah, size matters :stuck_out_tongue: , but in this case, also the weight. 3 x 18650 vs. 1 x 21700.

I don’t have an EC03 on order.

can u do some test of the fw21 pro over a larger area distance like 100m or more, if possible tatasal ?

I will try to find such place…I have relocated and the place where I live now is so well lighted.

New place in the house for some beamshots: as per Google Earth, 28 meters/91.8 feet

FW3A —————————————————— FW21 Pro:

If you could compare the mateminco mt07 and the fw21 un the same place, would be perfect!!

when you can, no problem !!

Btw, the time-honored tradition here in BLF is, when in doubt, buy both!

Thanks again for posting all of these great pics. They really demonstrate the differences very well. I love your new little flashlight!

cool pics… the fw21 is very good flood monster.

As per request of alvaro52021:

Tonight it’s not raining, so here are your shots:

The MT07 powered by the Vapcell INR26650 and used the copper plate on Arctic MX4:

…and now for the beamshots: MT07 (7xSST20 4000k) ———————- FW21 Pro (3 x XHP50.2):

Thank you tatasal!!!

Nice comparison. The SST-20 really brings out the red!

Be careful with continuously hitting turbo on the FW21 pro.
Here’s a link from a reddit user who burned his domes and phosphor off

ouch not good…. :frowning:

Continuously hitting turbo with a compact flashlight that outputs something like 10,000 lumens...

Not too surprising.

Agreed. Given how 10,000 lumens lasts for only a few seconds and about 8,000 for 15 seconds, they shouldn’t have tried to drive the emitters that hard. How many people are really falling for “10,000 lumens!” as a buying decision? We’ve already seen that game played and enough people should’ve figured it out by now.

If I were to get an FW21 Pro, I’d never drive it that high. But, given what happened with phosphor falling off, who knows what the threshold is?
