And B5 was and is just amazing. Best damned sci-fi show there ever was. Layers upon layers. Made ya think, and watching it the 2nd time around reveals little hints that foreshadowed later events, even though you didn’t know those hints were right in plain sight.
Oh, and “Stargate”, “Stargate”, “Stargate”. SG1, Atlantis, even Universe. Awesome, and the movies, too.
Better Late Than Never
Henry Winkler, William Shatner, George Foreman, Terry Bradshaw and Jeff Dye (as the foil).
The 5 visit various lands and “experience” various adventures.
Often painful, but often hillarious.
What we learned.
Terry Bradshaw will get naked at any opportunity, but is timid beyond belief as far as trying exotic foods.
George Forman, needs lots of naps, but is willing to eat anything.
Winkler doesn’t do critters.
My favorite moment.
After a particularly nice day, that was “arranged” by Bill Shatner in Hong Kong(?)
They are all sitting around at the end of the day.
Eventually Winkler thanks Shatenr, and says something like.
You can’t buy times like this, you can’t put a price on friendship.
Shatner pulls out a slip of paper and says:
Sure you can, It cost 102 thousand dollars. Three thousand dollars for your suit.
Cut to credits.
This is the spin-off from the movie, a teenage TV show covering a family that recently moved to a new area. The son Victor is dealing with making new friends, identity, and life in general.
More aimed at the younger crowd I would say, but a good show so far.
I am currently re-watching “Beverly Hills, 90210” - found the show when I was a little child and didn’t even know what they were talking about. that was the mother of all Teenage TV shows.
Described as “The best show you’re not watching”, which was pretty accurate. Great show, but don’t think it amassed the audience/ratings it deserved. A bit of an underrated gem…
Couldn’t always catch ’em when aired, but “The O.C.” and “One Tree Hill” were pretty good, too. Did catch a bunch in reruns, though, so they may’ve been on opposite other things I watched. Lots of nice scenery, too.
Everwood was one of the best shows I ever watched. It was quite a unique setting; while rural type scenarios are not that unusual, the plot was (guy loses wife, leaves the big city and goes rural). Also thought the acting was really authentic and good
