Nichia uses minimum. Some makers use average. Some users apply Nichia-style 4-digit specs to LEDs from other makers.
So it’s usually good to state whether it’s XXXX min. or XXXX typ.

KR1 W2 arrived today first impressions are good (except the clip). Performs a bit better than a decent C8 at a fraction of the size.
“Got” the KR1 with W1 and W2 today. Can pick it up in the post office tomorrow. Will try to make a few beamshots for comparison, but there’s a small issue with the sun. The nights are not as dark as during winter.
I’m looking forward to a W1 v. W2 comparison.
When can we expect the 16 LED mule Hank?
Got my KR1 W2 today and it's a.pretty nice light! Couple questions:
1. Is there any Anduril F/W for the KR1 anywhere yet? I looked here http://toykeeper.net/torches/fsm/ and don't see the KR1 listed.
2. Is the cheat sheet for Anduril the same as the one for my D4V2?
Now I just have to wait until dark to go outside and play with my KR1.

Well, just did 15 clicks numerous times because I keep getting a version that doesn't exist. I get 20200327 unless there is a mistake in the code that makes it flash out the incorrect month. I'm guessing it should be 20200427 since that one does exist and is the one you linked.
Oh opps I put the wrong link. I guess TK hasn’t made one for the KR1 but it’s probbly the same as the kr4.
I wouldn’t flash any firmware at the moment as long as we don’t know which firmware it runs. The KR1 does not use direct drive and I don’t know if this is limited by hardware or if the FET is disabled just by firmware.
