Just wondering if there is any interest in Eagtac ?

I like the classical style flashlights ..... basically I just like the formfactor .....

For this reason I've completed the X30L2 family to include the latest 2 models of Eagtac with respect to the MX30L2 series.

just for the record these are the only Eagtac's I have, but generally speeking I was wondering if there is any interest since they make several series and types you might like ?

Cheers,

Martin .....

My first real flashlight is a eagletac d25lc2 (iirc)
Very nice and a good quality light.

Since then I always liked eagletac / eagtac.

Yes, I have a SX25L3 kit, and a MX25L4C kit modded to 4 x XP-L from five and four years ago.

I am thinking about getting a MC30L4C modded to four x SBT90.2.

I like the Eagtac look and feel.

I won a D25A Ti few years ago. Like it, but these lights are usually over my budget, and good discounts are rare.

One of my edc rotation is a D25A Ti (also a black one before it) and it has never failed me, ever.

This brand is a solid performer in my books.

I have two and like them both very much.

M30LC2-C with Nichia 219b.

D25C Ti Mk II Nichia 219c that I really like as EDC. Simple UI allows easy access straight to Turbo or 4-level that starts with a nice and dim firefly mode.

My Eagtac GX25A3 is my bedstand light and sees plenty of use. It’s just right for the task IMO and I’m very happy with it. But I’ve never bought another Eagtac, although the RGB one a few years back tempted me.

Oh yeah! I'm a huge fan since old Foursevens and Fenix " Twist head for mod change"

Bloody simple and reliable PLUS their drivers has good regulation.

Currently have D25LC2 Tactical with 219C 5000K 90CRI and D25LC2 Color where i have swapped cool white emitter with 4000K version (still have colors)

Now am thinking to add 21700 in the game...

From the good old days I still have two Eagtacs. A D25C Ti twisty and a G25C2 mk2.

The first one is my baby, sits in my BOB, and won’t sell it for the world.
I keep the second one in tactical mode in my car. Because it has the meanest strobe I’ve ever seen.

Only problem with the last one that it is “difficult” to lock it out mechanically.
(all my lights are locked out unless I wear them on me)
You need loosen the tail cap untill it’s about to fall off.
If you don’t, the protruding tail button may be accidentally activated and drain your battery completely.
Luckily 30Q’s can stand a beating and I have a 0-volt revive mode on my charger.

I allready made a cosy home/suitcase for the GX and SX .......

And now I am wondering to go the same way for the two MX30's or just put the whole X30L2 family into ONE cosy new housing (=suitcase) ......

It's probably best to go for a new seperate suitcase for the MX30's as two cases are easier to carry for the emergency services during a deployment ?

Cheers,

Martin

That’s one handsome case you put together, but …………
There is a perfectly good reason photo-reporters wear several camera’s.
There is simply no time to swap lenses in the heat of the battle.
I know we are talking flashlights here, but that is pretty much the same IMHO.

d25a ti is still among the best aa lights

Love the GITD boot on mine. Visible through the whole night. Funny thing is the “limited” marking. Thus far I have seen more Ti D25A’s than aluminium lights.

I like my d25c to but not I wish I could eliminate those damn strobes. I need to do an emitter swap at some point, it’s got an ugly green hue xml. But it’s the narrowest CR123/163440 I know of. Narrower than my D10. I would grab a d25a but for the excessive strobe modes I am sure almost no one uses.

I am thinking about buying the new Eagtac MX3T-C with quad SS-T70 and 8,100 lumen (10,000 Led lumen) …. if the price is (somewhat) wright. (third from the same outlet…)

More details are available on the Eagtac website => http://www.eagtac.com/html/mx3tc/index.html
