ACEBEAM E10 LED Flashlight Released

i bought this light, with green led, it is definitely not ledil iris, i did not take it apart, but i can see the tir is half as tall as iris.

It’s a great little torch. Don’t like the button, it’s a bit mushy. But otherwise I think it is great for the price (obviously not a budget light as such).

Reminds me of the photo mirror lenses. Instead of parallel output the reflective mirrors converge at a point away and the diverges. Reversing the direction of the light in the diagram below.

Got a green one today, great little light, just edges out my xpl-hi C8 for output at a fraction of the size. Very cool and compact, will enjoy this one for a while to come. Seems to sustain turbo for a decent time without excessive heat. The green throw is easy on the eyes to focus on with very little backscatter.

There should totally be a 26650 tube for this. It seems like such an obvious thing. That would allow using common batteries (18650s too with an adapter).

This is an Osram W1, it’s not like it’s suckin’ diesel.

2000mAh with this emitter would probably equate to 3000 - 4000mAh with any other emitter that had this throw.

Acebeam would have considered this is in the design of producing one of the furthest throwing/size lights short of commissioning Vinh.

IMHO they were probably thinking about pushing the edge of flashlight design over battery availability.

But you have a point, in the UK I had to order (on the internet) from Europe to get a handful of decent 26350s.

Does this light fits unprotected 26350 battery? Notice that the default battery is using 26350 with micro usb port, which the battery length might be longer than average cell.

I have an unprotected 26350 and it works just fine. I forget which light I got it with. SC26 maybe. Not sure but, it seems to work just fine.

The E10 works with the SC26 tube but you might want to get a thinner o-ring to make it slide on easier. The Eagle Eye X7R tube also fits perfectly but you might want a thicker o-ring to make it water tight. The Thrunite TC20 tube also fit but the spring is so long in the Thrunite, I’m afraid of crushing the springs.

It uses the same optic as the Acebeam L17. I like how with this optic, the spill gets dispersed evenly so the hotspot stands out more than with a reflector light.

The E10 works with the SC26 26650 tube but you might want to get a thinner o-ring to make it slide on easier. For the record, my white E10 measures 540 lumen and 125kcd (almost full battery and 30+ seconds). Pretty weird how far off the specs it is, output way lower and throw way higher.

Thanks djozz for adding your data point. It seems the light is producing numbers in a range that is appropriate for the dimensions. I agree that it’s perplexing how a manufacturer like Acebeam could be so far off. Dumb, really.

Interesting light.
Anybody know if there is a 26650 or 21700 tube that fits this?
I could use my current stash of batts. And get way longer runtimes.

There is the L17 which uses the same optic and also the Astrolux EA01 which might interest you

The Astrolux EA01 battery tube does not fit the Acebeam E10 head, the Astrolux FT03 battery tube does not fit, but the battery tube from a first gen. Sofirn SP33 that I have does fit, it threads in very loosely but once fastened it feels solid and works well.

The Fireflies T1R will be available with 21700 tube, and appears to use the same or similar TIR. May be worth a look.
