[Review]Lumintop FW21 Pro - 10000lm destruction

Congratulations Mocarny, very good your review I ordered mine because of that. Thank you.

Very good review Mocarny. Can you make a time graph on high celling. I am intersted to view if FW21Pro can sustain about 1000 lumens for longer times. I think FW21 will be great helmet light if it can.

You can make the ream ceiling higher, it is probably 120/150 so you can increase it to 150.
And if you want slightly more turbo time, you can get copper FW21 Pro, it will be very heavy though.

You won’t be disappointed, I bought a second one. Just remember to not unscrew the bezel, it is very easy to break leds this way.

Ok I will check it

great review and great light!

Has anyone measured the difference in output between the 30T and 40T.

It is probably not coated. And I love this smell! Sad that you dont…

I will do those measurements between 30T and LG M50T and update you with the results. In my opinion it is not worth to put a higher drain cell in it, cause you have pure turbo only for a moment, only with full charged battery.

I have a 40T but I’m thinking if it’s worth it to get a 30T. I’m guessing it’ll only be about 5% difference but that’s just a guess. On the skylumen website 40T is recommended for best performance.

If “Best performance” means “400lm more on fully charged battery on turbo @1s which is impossible to notice anyway” then I’m sure it is true.
But I’m gonna use my M50T because of 5000mAh, instead of 3000mAh

Thanks for the review, I bought one. I need to order battery as well: Samsung INR21700-30T 3000mAh - 35A or 40T 4000mAh, the price is almost the same at nkon. The latter is the better choice, right?

That depends on whether you want more run time or more peak amp draw performance.

I’d choose more runtime, you won’t even notice max brightness difference

is it safe to use a 10A 5000mah battery in this light?

When ramping I noticed that there are two blinks. One at about 300lm and the second at the top of the ramp. I’m guessing the first one is 1x 7135 and the second is 8x 7135. Is this correct?

It is safe

And second blink is 8x7135, the first one… probably 1x7135

Hi, I have tested it with a fan for cooling the flaslight as if it was on a bike, and here is the graph.

Hi, I updated my review. I know, it’s been a long time… (changes mentioned below)

I’ve done my own measurements and it is nowhere near your 2200lm on max ramping brightness. :frowning:

In fact, my results are:

1417lm high mode (max ramping)
7596lm turbo mode, but only @1s, and brightness decreased quickly, so at 10s it is about 6800lm. Really hard to tell, because at 9s it could be 7100lm and at 11s 6700lm.
With 4.1V battery turbo gives only 7200lm, so my 7596lm was with 4.2V battery on a first try. And I used Samsung 30T cell.

EDIT: I saw ZeroAir review, he got ~ 9500lm at 30s which is ridiculous. He probably used higher drain cell to get this result, but I won’t believe it was measured at 30s. No way.

I measured mine at near 1500lm max ramp (and fully sustainable after calibrating temperature)
and 10600lm in turbo at 1s

Using a Molicell P42A cell

Vinh got 7% more output by decreasing the resistance in the circuit. I’m assuming that means just a spring bypass…probably. I would love to try it but I’m not really good with soldering and don’t want to permanently ruin the light.

Does anyone know how many amps this light draws in high and turbo modes?

In high it is (according to TK) most probably 2.8A, on Turbo it could be 15A, idk
