Samsung high tech 21700 48X 4800mah and 50G 5000mah battery

I don’t see any graphs comparing the 48x and 50G. Do you know why Samsung created two models if they have the same performance?

Hopefully HKJ gets a pair of each soon.

Please try again

We have sent each pair to HKJ a few days ago

I don’t see the graphs either. Tried a couple browsers and on mobile and no difference.

I can see them now.

For the people that cant see them I reuploaded them to imgur:

I had trouble seeing them too, on mobile I could see the non loaded pic icon and open in a new tab and that worked.

edit : thijsco19 mirrored them just before me.

I assume the 48x trades a bit of capacity for cycle life. It would be nice to see the full specs/datasheets.

Thanks you very much,sir :+1:

datasheet is PDF file :person_facepalming:

Is the issue file sharing between China and rest of the world ? if so a quick search gave some results : https://nihaocloud.com/ , https://cowtransfer.com/ (I haven’t tested those)

Mooch’s Test of G50

Both Samsung 50g and 48x currently come in two colors, gray and green

The figure below shows the complete technical table of 48x

Thanks for the tests Dennis.

In the datasheet above, does anyone know why it says “Avoid direct wind” in section 3.1 and 3.2?

On a different note, too bad the datasheet doesn’t specify either the 4.15V -> 3.0V capacity or the cycle life at 4.2V -> 2.5V

Hi Dennis,

Do you have a datasheet of the G50?

Thank you very much for your information sharing

50G datesheet

Thank you.

Any differences between Rev1(gray) and Rev2(Green) Cells of 48X/50G models? In discharge curves? and Internal Resistance?

P.S.: I have INR21700-48G2 (Rev2) in same green wrap color, they are more powerful and have best IR than original grey wrapped INR21700-48G (M5-1 marked on 3rd line)

Same batch as celle on this picture:

Tested, same performance

so 50G and 48X are just slightly better versions of 50E and 48G, right? if so, then 50G would also be perfectly adequate to be used in k1? assuming not sbt emitter

Yeah,i think it is

And higher cycle life

More technically difficult
